raidraptor is fun and surprisingly competent but they need their normal summon to not get destroyed which really limits the deck when drident is so common (for some reason its more threatening than a full spright board)

and thats unfortunate becauuse they look really cool and I wanted to make them, but after playing against them and winning just by negating their first summon... yeeeah not so sure anymore
I personally love playing Super Quant with Danger cards, triggering every Danger trough the Magnacarrier is so satisfying.
Also gives the King of the Computer more different names as material to play with. (Its also funny to imagine Jackalope or Tsuchi piloting the Mech)

Yeah, I played Springans Time Thief and it was fine - upsides and downsides to the field spell, it not being an XYZ summon meant slower progress on the missions, but also let it bypass Flying C (while that was legal), which was funny
I think not having to include the max c mini game in this video was the only reason we got it under 30 minutes.
This reminds me of when I still had fun when Master Duel was only a few months old. I made Bujin for the first XYZ event, and it was awesome. Being able to make a Susanowo and attack everything and banish them was so fun. And I wasn't even playing Bujin stall, the only stall I had was turn 1 Bagoo if I bricked too much, and half the time it turned into Vespacito.

I played virtual world, aka beatrice turbo, to summon king tiger wanghu and try to counter birds and numerons.
I did not play against numeron a single time.
I wish we had more cards designed like Magical Hats. I don't feel shafted if it activates unlike other traps and interruptions. Making quick effects only activatable after main phase 1 would make playing this game a bit more bearable
The "gotta take out the Max C's" then put in 3 imperm made me 🤣🤣
I played the event and also played Suships, but with a tiny mathmech engine of 1 circular, 2 diameter, 1 nabla, factorial, alembert and laplacian. uni and shari (ideally shari red) can make a draco future and uni-class with factorial set
and there's one duel that I exactly faced with also Madolches, and won within 12 turns bc of 1-mat zeus I had

I just did the boring strat and played Zoodiac for all the XYZ farming.
...then I made myself suffer by playing Brick Magicians to finish the 11000. It was as unpleasant as you'd expect, though I did steal wins off Exosisters & Laplacian Turbo a few times.
I just played Constellars and did well enough.
This event has really reminded me that Zeus is an insane card
I made a blind second spright deck and finished the event in 2 hours

I played from start to finish a melffy list with 7 cards on the ED and a small spright engine (no carrot or red) and it was the most fun I had these days playing YGO.

I played rank 5 machines, Cyber Dragons and Infinitracks guest starring Machina Fortress and Citadel. Did yall know Nachster can summon three of the Infinitrack monsters, allowing me to build the deck with 4 machine dupe targets?
Have been playing sprite melfy and honestly it's really okay especially in xyz, I usually end on a field of carrot, some 2s and puppy with maybe smasher. And its kicking ass

Game one, why didn't Farfa activate Lightning Storm? What was giving monsters protection?

There isn't really a need for lightning storm as Farfa can just bounce it with Tearimisu. Firing lighting storm also means he can't summon prankatop
He messed up the OTK when he should have activated prankatop after his Antjelly get Ash'd, so that Hootcake can banish prankatop instead and go full combo line. Because he banished his only main deck Madolche in GY, he can't extend his play further (and he forget uni can negate the field spell)
The tricky thing for Madolche in XYZ fes is without the link, it is hard to setup a board that can hold off enemy onslaught. So if you can't kill enemy in one turn you at best sit on one negate and at the mercy of any spell/trap destruction
@@ultradolp1335 Yeah, that's a pretty easy misplay to make when you're still not familiar with the deck. You don't realize you need a main deck monster in grave until you wan't to trigger Chocolat but can't.

I played utopia for the festival. But once I got all the gems, i switched over to heroic. But they need to rework the forbidden/limited list of the xyz festival. It feels like a copy and paste from the last one without any updates. Ran into too many labyrinth and even a retrained kairyu shin.

Legitimately mad that Gunkan Suship Shari Red gets to count it's name as Gunkan Suship Shari while in the deck, but doesn't count against the 3 cards of the same name rule. We need justice for Harpy Ladies 1, 2, and 3.
I couldn't agree more -- really it's the only major thing holding the Harpies back in my opinion. However, I've been playing both and I've found that some cards I discovered in Harpies can also be power plays in Suships.
The best example I can give is a Trap Card called "Ice Barrier." It's basically a superior version of Mirror Wall, and capable of searching "Gameciel the Sea Turtle Kaiju" when banished from the GY.
Or worst-case scenario, it'll force an Ash Blossom or Infinite Impermanence....

I just played Spright and got through the event in like 1-2 hours. Turns out that Spright doesn't need Toad and Elf to be the best deck. :)

I have no intention of playing XYZ fest but while we're talking about events, I just want to say that the Anthology event has been the most polarizing thing for me?
Limited to no hands traps means first turn player just gets to combo off and there's nothing you can do about it. People are just running control decks that are only good going first with no hand traps in the format Legit played a game where someone overlayes a bunch of number XYZs monsters into one that made it so I couldn't normal or special summon and it was immune to card effects. Cards like that are the reason Kaijus exist.
Only reason I'm having fun is because DM is one of the better decks, if you actually get to play, that is.
I read "gone sushial" as "gone suicune (the stop ones own bloodline and legacy)" and I was like what the actual hell happens in this video!?! (also don't wanna say the word because youtube will shadow block my comment then)

The festival wasn't fun at all anytime I want to play random decks I get dumpstered with meta decks/numeron, but when I decide to get serious I dumpster little Timmy with their loaner deck
I gave an exosister player the worst game if their lives by playing princess cologne with just a bunch of counter traps. Turn 57 was when the game ended with him winning with only one card left in his deck.
