  • Old song. Noise bass. I guess that's pretty cool.
    Triangle and Noise channels are both affected by DPCM, which is set to a constant level in this song to attenuate the Triangle.

    Aww yeah! That periodic noise, that mechanical beat! If I was making a game, this would be the theme for the factory level. Love that kind of sound~.

    This is one of the few songs I see that makes heavy use of the noise's second, shorter waveform instead of the other, longer static noise.

      It's because of the NES's non-linear mixing; essentially the output level of some channels will affect the output level of some others. The pulse channels distort each other slightly, and the triangle, noise, and DPCM channels all distort each other as well. That's why you can see an inverted version of the noise waveform in the triangle channel.
