    The stores/restaurants exchange rate is less favorable thus it’s better to use local currency. Chase preferred accounts do not charge international atm fees which saves us a ton!

    Thank you so much Allison for all your videos and your informations! If I understood correctly, even if we do not have the residency and therefore even as a tourist (a stay of 3 months for example), we have the permission to open a bank account in Nicaragua. Is that it? I am also interested to get all the informations about the way to buy a car in Nicarague (and insurances).

    • @allisonsjourney
      @allisonsjourney  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes that is correct. However, to buy a car you have to open a corporation first

    I just found your channel and am going to binge watch. 💥 My family is getting ready to sell and move out of Canada as it's too insane for us here. I want to go to a place that isn't quickly heading for the bank blockchain. Last year I tried to go cash in Canada, cause I used to do cash before debit cards, but inflation has caused a noticable difference. I have to carry hundreds of dollars on me for gas and food, due to inflation. $50 geys me almoat nothing in Canada. Or organize my bank withdrawl right before shopping and gasing up. I miss the old days and am looking forward to returning to a cash life in central America.

    Hello! Me again 😆 im talking to a lawyer in regards to residency and was wondering your take?! They are saying I need to be incorporated and have a business and invest $30k to buy a home (easiest way about it?) OR show that I have enough savings for 5 years for my family and myself at 2k a month. Did you incorporate to buy your home?
