  • In this one we focus on the soybean crew. George runs the New Holland Cr 9.9 and David runs the CaseIH 9240 both with 40ft Macdon heads. The corn combine also gets fixed and back to the field while Travis and Cory use the Leroi air compressor to clean up around the Meyer tower grain dryer

Fantastic video, really interesting to hear what all you guys want to say. Especially on the NH harvester, my dad's brother runs these NH units and he is pretty impressed with their performance on thrashing, especially the soy beans... We did run one of his NH on the rice this year, got to say I was pretty impressed with the performance all round..

@@iversfarms Howdy again, Reese. Rather perceptive of you! You pretty much hit it. I am what I call a full-time hobbyist. All my vacation time and some weekends are used for landscape picture-taking. Gives me a good reason to get out and enjoy creation! Been doing it since '99.
I've not done any backpacking trips for some years, and there is never any service on those. But even on my camping road trips in the mountains, we pretty much only have coverage around towns, so it's not uncommon to not have coverage for 3-4 days at a time depending on my routes.
I arrived at my first destination perch a little while ago and do happen to have coverage where I'm at. I'm at a little more than 10,000' right now, so I'm getting signal from somewhere down below. Got my phone as a hotspot and using the laptop to check for updates here and there. So, I do have some tech with me! Take care.

Happy and plentiful harvest to our US farmers =D. I eat lots of food like you harvest, whole lot of wheat, but also beans, fruits, greens, non-starchy vegetables. Healthy!
Edit: I read about soybeans and exports since it's been a fluctuating issue over the last several years. I'm not a farmer so it was interesting to read. apparently the US is on track to export the most since 2016 (to China). The prices aren't as good as 2016/17 but are better than recent years. So apparently it's not superb but it could be a lot worse. The voracious eastern appetite for soybeans bodes well for the future.

You guys ever run a gerinhof truflex razor head ? They have air the comes out from in front of the cutter bar to save beans. They work great in beans and wheat. They work similar to the air reel without the pipes in front . We have ran truflex razor heads for about 2 seasons now . They paid for themselves the first season on short double crop soybeans.

You should have the combine guys do pros and cons of some of the combines you use and have used. David did with the New Holland and 9240 in this video but I'm guessing you all have used a lot of the different models. Like the 9250 vs 9240 and older model numbers you've had.
