My wife took her shahada on the first day of Ramadan too, and for the first time in my Muslim life we managed to complete all days of fasting together even my children from my previous marriage fasted few days with us, Islam is beautiful thank you Allah.

I see big big things happening with this brother. His conviction and sincerity is beautiful. Being chosen into this deen is not an accident, so many people hear and are called and they reject but when sincerity meets conviction its just beautiful no doubt about it. I wish I could hug the brother. I remember my shahada many many years ago now and its a period of your life you will never ever ever forget, when ease and comfort enter the heart upon truth settling in its something they cannot be described. I mean it's like not sleeping for days because everywhere you try to lay is thorny and then all the sudden you find this comfortable soft bed. The feeling you get when you first lay in that bed is the same feeling a revert gets when his heart fills with light. This path will literally protect you from all the ills of society. Drinking, gambling, drugs, ill speech, STDs, lying etc. It is a constant reminder to the believer to correct himself, to fight against the evil within oneself, it steers the intellect to righteous actions and good deeds. Islam is the ultimate!!! Alhamdulilah rabbial Al-Amin
