How could the same God issue divergent injunctions? Furthermore, they expressed their amazement at the Qur'anic indictment of the Jews and Christians for having allowed part of the revelation to be forgotten and lost, pointing out that it was impossible that Divine revelation should be erased from human memory. In all this, their motive was not to know the truth but to cast doubt on the Divine origin of the Qur'an. In refutation God states that He being the Absolute Sovereign has unlimited authority both to abrogate previous injunctions and to cause people to forget the injunctions He wants them to forget. However, God ensures that whatever He abrogates or causes to be erased from people's memories is replaced by something equally or even more beneficial.

As a Malaysian, of course we are not perfect. Plus we are multireligious multilingual multicultural country. But still, we have quite strong Islamic finance system, Islamic courts dealing with some muslim issues are running, special department in Federal and State government supervising Islamic matters, Islamic studies are compulsory in government schools, etc. Alhamdullilah the society in general are quite safe and functioning. @AL Min hmm so you are deceived? Do you have evidence for what u said? Mohammad was a human he may have done some things and later on, he was correct. The core of Islam is much more than the little things you mentioned. It's a belief system that can solve any issue there is an answer for all problems, but the fact is people misused it for their benefit. The core belief: there is one God Almighty. Yesterday (last night) I asked a very deep question to myself why sometimes good people die young. I asked this question as I was cleaning the duck pen. An answer swiftly came to me & said, "It is bec they didn't stop evil, even when they were capable of stopping it." Then today, as I watched this video, I hear in my mind: "Anybody, in any culture who taught morality is from me." Then I had goosebumps. Not the goosebumps you get from being scared of someone but from a reassurance that everything will be fine if I keep on doing my fasting, standing up for what is right, & not sumbitting to evil people. There are times when I did submit to evil people & I felt very angry at myself & that voice I hear in my mind sending me these immediate messages start to diminish, but when I start to focus again & do the right thing in daily life (trying not to sin) this voice in my mind that keeps answering these deep questions suddenly comes back. I'm not saying it is Allah or an angel but I never had this happened before. Also, in the past few days I have been noticing that evil people tend to be avoiding me & when they do engage, a voice in mind says: "Stay put. Don't surrender."
O Allah have mercy 🥺 have mercy on the Muslim ummah and forgive us the living and the dead.

17:15 & 30:40 clearly shows the serious risk of fighting and dispute among Muslims on something that our pious predecessors has not had consensus on and maintained their brotherhood for the sake of Allah (e.g. condemning a violation to Islamic law if committed by the ruler publicly)
We need to watch our intentions and hold on the rope of Allah.
One of my favorite book to handle this serious issue that may push back many people away from Islam is the book:
