What I really like about Gojira is a lot of their really heavy riffs, and just riffs in general aren't crazy difficult. Hell yeah there are some that will blow your balls off with how technical they are, but there are a bunch of them that aren't too hard to learn how to play. That makes it fun for people to learn their songs and jam along. Plus in my opinion, it shows just how good Gojira is. They don't have to create some crazy mind bending riff to be heavy. Some simple riffs and they still manage to melt your face off.
I love listening to a band like Gojira for just the rawness of their sound and then immediately after going to a band like periphery for just insane technical stuff. Two totally different bands, different styles, but both heavy as fuck 🤘

You missed the heaviest riff EVER in the middle of "The Way of All Flesh." You know, the part where it is totally silent. They needed strings the thickness of Mars to play that.
The gap of thickness that there's between the E and the A string is as big as the gap that there from mars to sirius

Loving the Link representation, definitely their most underrated albums and one of their best imo.
For anyone who isn't already familar with Gojira, or haven't even heard them before... a PSA - All of their Riffs are *a lot* heavier and harder hitting in *context* of their respective tracks. True heaviness is about contrast, and Gojira nail that consistently.

You literally said it, it's a breakdown. Of course all gojira brrakdowns are heavy, so is l'enfant sauvage'sand so is stranded's but this is riffs.
