I used to work for gaming studios and the negative coin balance is a common thing when they players do some kind of fraud or chargeback after getting items. This is far more common that anyone would think, unfortunately players are people and people are always trying to game the system. So this players most of the time will get to keep the items but the negative balance will remain till they pay back the coins that were refunded. claimed or not recognized with the bank or payment method.
In some cases, like pay to win games, that are popular in countries where fraud is considered just another thing people do, they will set up complex flagging systems in order to detect fraudulent players from repeating these conducts in new accounts or teaching their friends how to do this scam.

Me and my sister got our first Heirloom from this 8pack. Weve been playing since near the beginning when Apex came out.
I'm still missing items after this whole season account rest thing I bought 5 event pack using crafting materials when my account was reset I got the reward you get for open 5 packs(the coid pouch charm) aswell as 2 legendary weapons skins one being the wingman skin which I equipped and when they "fixed" my account I got back all the progress and items I had lost before but they also took all the events rewards I got away and didn't even give my crafting materials back that I had spent
I have played Apex since Valentines day 2019. I have logged an obscenely vulgar amount of hours playing. During these years I have NEVER gotten an heirloom. I just opened my 8 packs and only got one blue. Suckered once again and uninstalled immediately.
I got shards from one of the 8 free packs. thought I was just extra lucky but I guess the update mistakes actually had a bug in our favor too

Of course if free packs are gonna be given out across the world, some people somewhere will have ended up crossing that 500 pack threshold, coincidentally getting an heirloom. By chance, it was bound to happen. But why say EA/Respawn (idk why you say apex) gave out free heirlooms? I thought you didn’t like clickbait and even didn’t respect it from other creators when they gathered their following from clickbaiting like when Thordan Smash does it? What’s crazy is Gaming Merchant will say the same thing but still will clickbait his viewers as well into a bunch of nothing. At least if you’re gonna clickbait sometimes, stand by it and don’t try to get on Thordans case as if you’re above him. Such a hypocritical thing to do.
And now today a new update and it’s currently saying “no servers found” lol

Friend and I got basically the same thing. 2 purples and 1 gold. Figured I wouldn't get shit. Had to pity the most recent heirloom I got. That's after losing the wingman skin from the free event pack for a purple because I opened it on the roll back day... I don't know why I still play this game.
