How to troubleshoot EFI codes on Arctic Cat ATV and get error codes.

- Knowing how to get the error codes from an ATV will greatly shorten you time troubleshooting. here is a list of the AC error code for artic cat ATV's.
00 = No Fault Detected (active code only)
12 = CKP (Crankshaft Position) Sensor*
13 = APS (Air Pressure Sensor) - H1
13 = MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor - H2
14 = TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)
15 = ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) Sensor
16 = Speed Sensor
21 = IAT (Inlet Air Temperature) Sensor
23 = Tilt Sensor*
24 = Ignition Coil #1*
26 = Ignition Coil #2* - H2
32 = Fuel Injector #1*
34 = Fuel Injector #2* - H2
40 = ISC (Idle Speed Control) Valve
41 = Fuel Pump Relay*
60 = Cooling Fan Relay
95 = Sensor Power
96 = Incorrect ECU*
97 = ECU Memory Power (constant battery power)

Ref.: 2008 Arctic Cat 700 EFI - Someone advised me that my ECU might be bad since my injector is not "spraying." How do I go about testing the ECU before blowing a shit-ton of money on a new one?
I have a 700 tbx with a ac12 code. is there a way to trouble shoot or diagnose this problem? could you inform me where i can get a replacement part and how to change it. thanks
Good proficient video. I have a 08 700 EFI. Has EFI flashing after starting, but no error stored, I’ll check again. ISC was filthy and I’m changing the plug. I’m looking at wiring everywhere I go. Any other suggestions?
Another possible cause for EFI error is using an aftermarket oil filter. Some bikes require back pressure from the original oil filter. Aftermarket oil filter lack the necessary spring inside them.
I have the same quad and problem,volt or efi flashing,no error code,but mine dont start anymore,relays are clicking.
@@ferror4652 If the starter relay is just clicking there are two possible issues. Dead battery, or seat starter. Start by ensuring the battery is fully charged. If battery is good, pull the starter and make sur it spins when you hit the starter button.
I also have 08 700efi and was getting "volt" and the battery wouldn't charge and died on trail, replaced voltage regulator rectifier right behind tail light and now its hasn't died yet but flashes EFI.
Also I have an 01 arctic cat that electric start don't work, I bought new starter plugged it in and tried hitting start and it didn't spin, any tips on where to look there?! Thanks!!
Same problem. efi flashes and cant hear fuel pump cycle. This happens occasionally not all the time. I checked stator wires, battery, all wires, V .regulator, tps sensor is set correctly in middle setting. Did the testing of all 3 stator wires, did the ac voltage testing. every test from the service manual came back in spec. Battery is in top notch shape doesn't lose charge even when sitting for days outside in the cold. No burnt plugs or wires. I am wondering if maybe the fuel pump is intermittently failing. Machine idles like its rollercoasting up and down, spark plug is a nice caramel color. machine runs like a champion when it doesn't do the efi flashing. if i turn it off and back on the efi flash doesn't happen and i can hear the fuel pump activate. No codes being stored at all. I have cleaned and tested every terminal and wire. This is a 2008 700 efi with 2000 miles on it. Original owner put all 2000 miles on it. guy i got it from put about 20 miles on it and it sat in garage for years. Put new gas in. It didnt do the efi flashing for a while after i rode it- put about 160 miles on it myself. now its doing it again but only on occasion. The tps sensor was in the lowest setting when i got it so after i adjusted it all the efi stuff was good until today after i put 160 miles on it over a couple weeks

I have error code Ac 13 and sc12 and I can’t find the fix to the problem anywhere online any help?
I know the sc means a stored code and it might have previously has a ac error but I don’t know what ac13 means
Hello. Thanks for the question. Usually an AC13 indicates and air leak in the system. It can be a cracked intake boot or sometimes is caused by an overtightened clamp. Try spraying some carb cleaner around the intake boot while the engine is running and see if the idle increases. This will indicate it is sucking in air from somewhere.
@@taylorallisona-tay1374 AC13 is an Active Code 13 which is usually an air intake issue. Most commonly an air leak.

i have the erroe code P0509 so is probably the stator out?
The problem is most likely with the idle air control system circuit.
P0509-Idle Control System Circuit High or Open.
Mine has been doing this it’s entire life. No shop can figure it out. I’m going to try this.
