BERMONDSEY LONDON, Vibrant, characterful area merges old Victorian dock buildings with modern living

Bermondsey is a district in South East London in the London Borough of Southwark, England. Located within close proximity to the River Thames, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, The Shard and Borough Market, to name a few popular tourist destinations.
Bermondsey even topped The Sunday Times best places to live in London list in 2018, with the publication noting “the rise of an area that epitomises the modern, urban good life.
In this video, we will walk you around Bermondsey Street, where popular shops, bars, cafes and parks and surrounding areas including the popular Shad Thames next to Tower Bridge.

Some of my ancestors were baptised in the church in Bermondsey Street. Ancestors lived there all through 19th century until early 20th century. Great taste of a great part of London, thanks 🙂

HI AGAIN i was just watching your video and saw the lamp post school the RED DOOR you show it it's in bermondsey Street, l thought you might like to see on u tube the film of the school that Louis the beautiful lady i told you about showing what is was used for it's called Ricky at the post office in bermondsey i am the little girl sitting on Louis lap i hope you watch it and enjoy it. 👍👌❤️

hi Lee and chue i have just subscribed to you. I love this video i come from bermondsey and also lived in bermondsey Street as a child,and it has changed so so much. Yes they have built a lot of new beautiful places bright colourful and new, but i can't help and think how much has gone. Like the post office school
run by a lovely lady who helped a lot of children who never went to main streem school she done sooo much for BERMONDSEY., there was a chocolate factory, a dairy all gone ANYWAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO brought back good memories XXCHARLOTTE👍💯
