    and the best long range radio comes from rugged radio's thay are built for the out doors
    water tight used in a t v's side by sides and quads I run a 45 watt base unit covers 20 miles
    on repeater all day everyday and I have a license O and they come with a T E C. to help

    ok midland does not have 50 channels there are 22 f r s channels and 8 G M R S channels
    then we add the privecy codes which are not privet thay prevent other users from
    joining in on the group's topic of the day BUT thay can still hear you anyway
    I am license for G M R S and use there other big brand radio's no one has heard about
    but still you have a 1/2 watt hand held 1 mile radio

    Why don't you tell your viewers that some of the radios reviewed are Amateur (HAM) radios that requires a license. Even the GMRS radios mentioned requires a license. DMR radios do not work out of the box. They have to be programmed with a special software, talkgroups have to be created and such. It is beyond the abilities of casual radio users, again this is a HAM radio and requires a license.

  • @RKingis
    @RKingis Před 11 měsíci +6

    You need a amateur radio license, or business license to legally use the Anytone in the US.

      @@RKingisso i cannot use anyone of them without licence?
      I don't want to talk like a ham, if I want to talk with my friends without following any rules or like call sign and everything.
      What's the frequency I'm supposed to use or not to use.
      Which model
      Please reply

    • @RKingis
      @RKingis Před 10 měsíci +3

      @@ahambhramasmii Get any modern FRS radio, which should have 2watts on all but 8-14. MURS is 2watts on VHF, and has 5 channels. CB radio has 40 channels up to 4watts, 12watrs on single side band. And the FCC just allowed FM on CB too. And they have handheld units too.
      The first radio, the Cobra RX680 is a FRS 2watts radio.

    • @RKingis
      @RKingis Před 10 měsíci

      @@ahambhramasmiiSo looking at the list again, you can use the Cobra, Motorola, and Retevis radios license free. The Anytone 878 requirements a PLMR Part 90 business license, or a Amateur Radio license.

    all of your radios are family service and G M R S radios I have the same general radios
    run the same way family service is 2 watts and two miles in city the G M R S side requires a G M R S
    no test license thay will do 20 off a repeter when set to that tower I am a licensed operater

    I'm sorry to bust your bubble . Are Garbage when it comes to performance and yes I know line of sight to get better communication.
    But still in line of sight they do not perform well.
    I would say one radio that a lot of people are talking about is the Rocky mountain walkie-talkie . The radio can communicate clear even if not in line of sight. But obviously if a mountain is in your way you will have poor communication. Put the radio still beats all the other cheap or expensive radios for communication.
