This isn't a question, but an idea I just had is to make a signature deck: every time you perform, you do a signed card trick with a separate deck and eventually get a deck with 104 signatures (front and back.)
Hi Cavan, which narked deck is your favourite? Ive never used ine before but have been thinking about getting into marked deck effects so wiuld appreciate hearing your thoughts. Also, is your masterclass focused on routines with a marked deck? Or is it more avout how to mark a deck yourself (instead of buying decks that have already been marked)?
penguin has so many out of stock items on their site
I would like to add the Penguin Magic sometimes send emails out of old tricks that don't do well and pushes these like there the best ever.

What's your favorite marked deck? mine is the butterfly deck TC.
My go to company is hands down still Penguin...
Their Live lectures are second to none in my opinion...
Ive never had a bad word to say about them...
When i have asked about some effects from their sales team i have often times gotten a direct "I wouldnt buy this if i were you" so they have saved me alot of money...
Vanishing Incs customer service has always been fast however. I could ask them a question and guarantee i will have a reply in the next hour. Penguins can be a bit longer..
I dont think this at all but i can see how some people would think you are biased agaisnt penguin due to your experience one of their employees.

Never admit they figured something out if they truly have. All you have to say is (looking kind of stoic) "mmm I guess you could in theory" Simple, easy, not a lie and you never reveal the secret. You stay ethically sound to the Magician's Code when it comes to laymen.
So annoying magic world closed in person. I was going to go when covid went down a bit as it was the closest shop to me and ive never been to a magic shop.
Instead im going to the merchant of magic in September this year. Super excited!!!
Also is murphys magic one that should be on the list or is that different?

I like your list..don't agree with it, but respect the opinion and reasons why they are, where they are on your list. Penguin has been great to me, V Inc is good. Murphy's magic, not so much. As an ambassador for Ellusionist my opinion is biased there lol

Totally disagree on the Penguin magic placement. My personal experience is that they have the best customer service that I've ever dealt with amongst the other big players.
Totally fair enough! I know plenty who'd put them in perfect, maybe I was harsh. On another day, I might have put them in "Very Good"

Q: if you could only perform ONE magic trick, what would it be?
For me Ellusionist is a bit of a stinker as of late. Don't even get me startet on the terrible customer service regarding HTRM 2 but besides the Peter Turner stuff nothing on their side is really really good and since DM, Adam Wilber and Chris Ramsey left its gotten worse and worse

I have a big note on my phone named "interresting doppelgangers" and i actually have another youtube magician on there, Wes Barker, and his doppelganger is Alan Tudyk, more specifically in the movie "Dodgeball" (especially at the end when he tries to be normal and not a pirate)
