This concept is fire! Simplifying mainstream hypes by categories and giving alternatives. The 4 particular categories definitely give a quick review and depth to each fragrance. We need endless sequels to this video lolâŠđŻđŻđŻ

You did good Justin. I am a 46 yo man and a big frag head too. I started my journey in the 90s with designer fragrances like Tommy Hifiger and even earlier with Ralph Lauren Chaps and Safari. I really had no idea what I was doing, but deep down I knew there was a time and place for fragrances. Also, I learned that wearing Safari or Chaps at age 15 wasn't the best idea; the girls my age said I smelled like a saddle. Anyway, this really hit home with me and how I pulled things off like Aqua di gio in my early twenties as apposed to Polo sport. I liked Polo sport, but when I discovered this new nectar from the gods I new that it would turn heads and I do think it matched my age at the time. IDK I'm sure some will disagree, but as we say, it's all subjective đ

Great one Justin, you'll be pleased to known that in Spring I alternate between Chanel AHS Eau Extreme and Lolita Lempicka Green Lover đ Both make me happy and I do agree that there's more to Green Lover than meets the eye. It's unbeatable not just for its price but when placed head to head with things 4-5 times more expensive. Thanks for the video
Yeah youâre right about the Chanel. Sadly found that out the hard way. I liked it a lot when first smelling it and got tricked into the price per ml racket. Bought a 5 ounce bottle. Recently purchased its predecessor Allure Homme Sport, and I find that one to be much better. But not all is lost, the Eau Extreme does smell nice, I just will have the 5oz for life. Learned my lesson and if all that comes from that is I have a Chanel fragrance for life, then I guess worse things could have happened. Great video, your concepts donât go unnoticed and unappreciated. You and Joy Amin give great advice and knowledge, Iâve learned a lot from you, so thank you for the wisdom you share.

BOIS IMPERIAAAAAAL!!!! Iâve been wearing the F out of it, now that itâs no longer 20 degrees outside. Itâs intoxicating, so interesting, so different. Akigalawood is quickly becoming a favorite note, Iâve realized, as Ex Nihiloâs The Hedonist is another fragrance I canât stop reaching for.
I feel the exact same about Hawas as you do. For me it is one note or like you said linear. I have tried 3 different times to wear it and each time I am ready to scrub it off as soon as I put it on.
Great video. Yeah my Prada Carbon and Prada Ocean is collecting dust. I think they are the last of my regret fragrances that I own. I wish I found this channel earlier, could have possible saved a lot of money.

Great content Justin đđŸ. As I get deeper into my fragrance journey I find my getting further away from mainstream fragrances. Your recommendations are well received, at least by myself. I never understood why people get so butt hurt over other's opinions on certain fragrances. Guess that speaks to people's maturity.

I don't necessarily agree with you on some of this, but I definitely see where you're coming from. I own a good chunk of these, both the overrated and the recommendations. I gave my bottle of 3AM to my brother, and now I cant seem to find it anywhere for less than like $50, so I caved and spent that to get a new bottle

I work in a busy supermarket, Iâm 47, and my top 3 compliment getters are:
1. ADG Profondo
2. Rasasi Hawas
3. Versace Eros
These are by no means my favorites. I personally love DG light blue forever (when itâs hot out) JPG Ultra Male, YSL lâhomme le parfum, and Rochas mustache. BUT, they get no love. Maybe itâs because I work in a college town?
Couldn't tell you why they don't get love, but as long as you love them, you're good đđŸ

I've come round to your idea of their being a place for short duration frags after nixing hard for the last couple of years. Amouage opus 9 is beastly. Beautiful deep leather and floral and 10 hours later its still pumping. Its a commitment. On a two frag day, it can't go first.
Just got my bottle of Bios imperiale. So good and dirt cheap. Amazing.

How about wear what makes you feel good but whatever most people don't wear fragrance anyway so you'll probably stand out just wearing any!! I don't judge people if you're 60yrs old & wanna wear axe go ahead do YOUR thing!!!

the most important this for me is the names...wow! Dude fresh, boy fresh, dude sweet, man sweet and so on...man fresh is almost taken but i bet the brands are coming to steal the names bro so u better patent them fast.đbtw i dont like this allure one too and can't stand the BR 540 DNA(it has some similarities though with some older mass appealing frags). Edition blanch is the best in allure line! Btw love dolce the one (my first designer frag ever) and uomo(i like the og better than intense) both. Sad they axed the uomo one.
Duor homme 2020 is definitely underrated, it's a Gentleman fragrance.
I like these categories. I am holding myself apart from these categories because: female, old, not dead yet, long time collector and female. Iâve classified some scents as too youthful, too masculine, too ubiquitous and too unimaginative.
Just ordered valentino uomo , i smelled it awhile ago and loved it , was just waiting for a good price and jomashop is having a sale today on fragrances so i got a 150ml bottle for $111.54đ

Love the list. I tried Dylan Blue because I saw it on so many lists, and to me it's a Bleu de Chanel knock off. It starts out just like BDC but then it does something really weird like the fragrance just craps out. I don't know if I love BDC so much that I can't stand Dylan Blue or if it's just that I hate Dylan Blue. Anyways, on another note, for a man freshy, may I suggest Mancera's Black Gold? I'm trying it for the first time tonight and my God is it beautiful! It's like walking through a beautiful flower garden in full bloom. It's unisex, leans feminine but there's something so masculine about it. I don't think every guy would enjoy Black Gold, likely only certain types, but wow, it's like a fresh version of D&G's The One Luminous Night.
I tried Black Gold years back and I enjoyed it!

Rasasi does have some mature man fragrances, Junoon Velvet (Man Sweet) Oudh Al Boruzz Asrar Indonesia (Man Fresh) both super underrated.

The fig in 3am comes off coconutty to me, not in a bad way, but I think its kinda 2D
Both uomo are good but that iris note in intense does it for me
Funny enough, I like fantastic smells of Interlude although most people around me feel irritated and complain of its bombastic smells. I spray it more to last even longer and project further in office đ
On the other day, I rotate it Al Hararamin de tour noir layered with PDM Layton. 15 sprays of each of those fragrances are enough to last me whole day.
Quality content. And now, I have to by Salt & Pepper since it's cosigned by two reviewers I expect outside the box references from. Yourself and Melissa Naccional.

As a lover of Chanel AHSEE, I am really interested in Green Lover. Especially with the scent profile you described. I also need to sample from Argos, especially Triumph of Bacchus. Those bottles and your descriptions are enticing lol. I love Hawas and I have tried Coach Platinum. It's nice but I can't get into it. I haven't tried Uomo, but I have tried the many flankers. As far as Slat and Pepper, I need to get a sample of that. Melissa Nacional put me on to that one and I have not had the opportunity to try it out yet. Also, That Mr. Pink Bottle is insane.

Compliments don't make a fragrance great for me. They are just a byproduct of the fragrance accenting my confidence.
The way it smells to me matters most, because I have to love it even if I'm not getting compliments. If the scent of Explorer is a 10/10 for you, even without compliments, then you've found a keeper.

The cotton candy note probably comes from an aromachemical called ethyl maltol. Not sure why a grown man would want to smell of it.

The dry down on 3am is MIND-BOGGLINGLY good, especially for the price. I'm about 1 year into my frag journey, and of the hundreds of things that I've smelled, 3am is the best value I've come across.
And when I got it, it was $15 on Amazon, and now it's $50+ everywhere...wtf? lol
