It may be twelve years old, but Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme just smells great; plus it's versatile being a year-round scent...totally agree with Ash on this one.
Well BDC edt is 2010 and great! Also, Allure Home Sport 2004 too, they are timeless.

First fragrance I'd pick up if I was starting my collection over would be CDNIM. I know, I know... but to date it has still been my most complimented fragrance of all time and I can't argue with that. It wouldn't be my first pick in a "Keep only 10 for life" list, maybe not even on the list at all, but it'd be the first frag I'd buy when starting over.
I bought CDNIM literally because of comments like this and I don’t get the hype at all.

I think you guys tend to forget that you're looking at it from a perspective of a fragrance enthusiast and not as a normal person. I'm not even crazy about the Aventus DNA at all, it's alright. But people absolutely love it, hence the repurchase.

All these dudes are hating for no reason. I smelled it back in 2017 at Ulta and was blown away. I never did pick it up, but it was so memorable that 7 years later in 2024 I remembered the name without having to Google it. It's a beautiful smell. I get my bottle tomorrow. A lot of people will say a frag doesn't last, but I also have aventus from a 2022 batch. Everyone said it lasted 3-4 hours. I put 2 sprays on my neck. 10 hours later after working in 90 degree weather outside I got a compliment from a co worker that was 3-4 feet away from me.
I stand corrected Ash, 3000+ bottles now wheras I thought it was 2000+. Beautiful collection!!!
Okay, so hear me out... redo this video with your pick of the best dupes of these same 10 fragrances. Everyone makes "fragrances you must own", or "best cheapies of 2024", but nobody gives a "my top 20, and their best 'inspired bys'"

Hey ash! really enjoy your videos. I blind bought lalique encre noir sport and i have to say that in my opinion it deserves way more appreciation. It does not perform that great but the smell is so rich, the citrus and woodiness that comes across is really really great! would love to see you revisiting this one cause being a cheapie i think would draw a lot of people to the video.

I'll start with YSL Y EDP. Truly a gorgeous scent, plus it's a compliment monster.
That was the 2nd fragrance I ever bought (I have 28 bottles now), I kinda stopped wearing it for awhile but just wore it this past weekend and wore it like everyday since. Such a great scent
The Y le parfum is a beast and compliment getter as well. Wore it to work today and got 3 different compliments

i enjoyed it quite a bit initially. Enough to buy a back up, but the more i wore it the more i realized how sharp the scent is. Also one of the few that will give me a headache if i go more than 2 sprays.

Looking back id have sampled as many as possible then picked half a dozen of the best and unsubscribe from all fragrance reviewers!

I clicked the video expecting Prada Luna Rossa Black to pop up and definitely did not disappoint. One of my most favorite fragrance

I have a very small collection at the moment. Out of what I have, I would order Gary's Den, Khamrah Qawha, and Detour Noir Exclusif again for a collection restart in a heartbeat. Those all lean colder weather... I don't know that I've fallen in love with a warmer weather fragrance just yet. Lucianno's Coastal Breeze is really close... just a hair under the must-have list.

You mentioned Gucci Guilty Elixir several times. I would choose that to repurchase. I absolutely have been loving it. Any of the Dior Homme would have to be on the list. Tom Ford Costa Azzurra Parfum would be the 3 I would have to rush back out to repurchase. As a honorable mention, YSL Myslf would be another repurchase. It's legitimately another favorite that I can't explain exactly why I like it so much, but it's just pleasant in every way. ❤❤

Hello GentScents, TurtleOriginal here, off subject, but it really bothers me, how companies will have an unbelievable men’s cologne, then, either discontinue it or reformulate a masterpiece! It drives me nuts!! When I first started out with my interest in men’s colognes, I used to go to a place called, “Marshall’s.” This place was awesome back in the day; they’d have a certain table that was full of different cologne testers to try, and really discounted prices on sealed, new bottles. I remember buying the largest bottle of, “Curve Soul,” that is no longer made! I loved that scent, and wish I’d bought as many as i could!! I’m old now, (54), but the original green bottle Curve was my signature scent, but Curve, “Curve Soul,” was my special occasion/going out scent. I used to get the largest bottle, (3.4oz I believe), at Marshall’s, for $18!!! I’m not exaggerating here! Now you cannot find it, and the “Green Curve Scent,” is reformulated, and only lasts an hour if you’re lucky, and spay 10 times! This same thing is with the original, (Pink colored), “JOOP!” I remember back in the day, I’d put 4-5 blasts of JOOP on me before going out to the club/bar for a night out, and I’d have the scent, still on my clothes, even after a night amongst smoke from the smokers, before smoking was banned. oud noir is such an amazing fragrance. i love it so much. its my favourite dark fragrance together with oud wood and encre noir.

How do you store your fragrances, in an air conditioned room? I found out the hard way when I lost about 40 of mine including my 1 year old blue de chanel. From now on I store mine in my spare refrigerator in my. Basement. Thanks , great video as always.

Does anyone know about the Fragrance Buy listing “Dior Homme Intense(New Pack)”? Is it the original DHI or an intense version of the new DH?
It's the new version of DHI that came out in 2020, it's pretty close to the original DHI and its completely different to Dior Homme 2020 since it has the iris.
I’ve always wondered how you sort through what you want to wear with that many fragrances. I have about 30 so I can see everything I have in a small area. Do you have a specific way of separating them when you store them?
I put all my favs together then separate them according to the weather I would wear them. If I'm outside I might wear a beast mode. Still tough to decide but it helps.
Ash probably reaches for Dylan blue a lot so he doesn’t have to think about it … I think I would if I had that many 🤯
I separate mine into 2 batches. Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. The out of season batch goes into storage.
