@@soaring7525 that’s how i felt i no joke started 8 months ago i had no clue about how hockey worked, i didn’t know how to skate or handle. like literally no idea what the hell i was doing. so i did some research and bought some hockey skates then i went to public skates and practiced maneuvers i watched on youtube soon enough i was decent enough to start skating with a stick and puck. so i played during stick n puck times (i still sucked) i kept skating and practicing now i’m on a team and i’m one of the fastest skaters on my team cuz i just put in the work and did my research. long story short best place to start is either roller blading or if there’s a rink nearby go find some cheap skates and practice skating and watch youtube tutorials too. the progress along the way is super rewarding and gives a great feeling. best of luck man:)
@@loganmcilmoil386 this inspires me! I've been watching the IIHF tournament every year and never got the courage to start. After my country demonstrated a phenomenal world cup this month and gained its first-ever medal, I started my own little research and planned to learn skating. I've skated before, but it wasn't a big success since there was no one to teach me, however, I used to rollerblade years ago which might help me with the start. I don't think any training programs near me are open for my age which is why I'm doing this research. Is there anything you would recommend to me with the start and the rest? Any great hockey CZcamsrs
You're just stepping over your foot. Here's another video where you can see his feet better: czcams.com/video/mrQd8i1-CFk/video.html and another: czcams.com/video/6pr3ZyMmGDI/video.html
