Yeah, I've got some affiliate links. If you buy some stuff, I'd be stoked for the support. If you end up purchasing from some of these links, I'll get a little kickback, and you'd be a hero!
I'm not an affiliate for Epidemic Sound, I just figured I'd leave my referral link!
This is a warm sounding mic, which is good for certain tracks
For sure!
Really nice voice test! I dig the SM27 and intend to use it as an all around mic, as well as for my CZcams channel.
Hey, thanks a bunch! Yeah it's a really solid mic! Best of luck with the channel. Looks like you're off to a great start!
@@MintGreenAudio Thanks, you too!
Loved the singing!
I have been eyeing the ksm32 but am considering the sm27 to start, as a bit less expensive mic.
Hey, thanks a bunch! Yeah that SM27 was solid for sure!
Makes me so sad knowing that this microphone is not talked about a lot. So good but soooo underrated:(
Agreed!!!
That was really awesome!!!
Thanks!!!
I heard a little green day in there nice job all the way around
Thanks, man!
Thanks for this! I don't see many video reviews of this mic. Just wanted to ask how it performs in terms of self-noise and how much gain is needed to get a good signal.
Hey, no prob! So as far as self-noise, I'd say it's a top-tier mic at less than 10db. As far as gain goes, it's solid. It doesn't take any more gain than the average mic. Not a super technical answer, but I honestly think this is a fantastic microphone at this price, and I don't understand why it's not talked about more. Thanks for watching!
Nice singing bro. The vocal is sound natural
Thank you!
I like the mic 🎙. Great video 👍🏼
For sure, thanks!!!
That was awesome I got like this offspring and System of a Down mixed vibe haha
All around great video. Thank you.
Hey, thanks so much!!!
You gained a subscriber, keep it up.
I was looking at the KSM 27 and wound up here on an SM 27 Test Drive. Great job on that song. I liked your version better than the original.
Hey, thanks a bunch, Joe! I thought it was a good song!
Thank you brother
great video, great mic
Thanks a bunch!
I want to do voice over. I want to record my poetry professionally. In which I get high quality. But in my poetry some lines will go in high tone and some lines will go in emotional low tone. Suggest me a good mic, headphone and audio interface. I have a budget. under four hundred dollars
It really depends on your voice! But, if it were ME, I'd go with -
INTERFACE: Focusrite Scarlett Solo
Headphones: Audio-Technica ATH-M30x
MIC: sE Electronics X1 S
Bro you funny asf 😂😂 keep goin
Haha thanks for watching!
Which audio interface did you use?
Apollo Solo!
have you tried the at4040 before?
Never, you?
Is this suitable for micing 3 singers?
Yeah, you could definitely use a condenser mic to do that.
@@MintGreenAudio Thanks
Do you need a pop filter??
I've got a few :)
