  • Hey guys this is the second part of the vintage motorbike / motorized bike build. In this episode we worked on a lot of little stuff. To begin we made a foot rest, then a belt tensioner, after that we mounted the gas tank followed by a new carburetor set up and exhaust. I love how it turned out, this motorized bike goes about 25-30mph. If you like this project be sure to check out my channel for other vintage/classic motorized bikes, gas scooters, mini bikes, go karts, motorcycles and quads.

Pioneer bikes use a wooden block that rubs in the pulley rim. You could try a tiny kubota alternator to power the electrics, very lightweight and cheap.

I love what you do! You make things look easy and I know coz I tinker with these sorts of things. One suggestion I had, could you make the wheel base 4" longer so that the motor sits lower? You've gone to the trouble of making that nice curved cradle at the bottom and it would be great to see the Briggsy sit down in there.

I really like how your bike came out. The muffler and light system are awesome! Also the belt clutch thing is cool to. I was surprised the carb relocation worked, since it did i really like that also. Alot of very original ideas. Came out great. For your belt noise they sell belt lube for cars at most auto parts stores its sticky not oily like wd40 you probably wouldnt want to put wd40 on a belt because of slippage. Hope you make another video when its all done and maybe a mph test. Great job! Thanks for showing your work.
    😁👍

Hey Oliver, I'm putting a Kawasaki 340 from an El-tigre into a KZ400 streetbikes chassis. I want my primary and secondary cvt pulleys as close together as possible. Will I have any trouble finding a short enough drive belt for it? I've never done this before and I figured I'd ask the master lol thanks either way good sir

  • @a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665
