'I didn't abandon my kids to go to the US. I just couldn't stay in such an abusive marriage!

  • After many years of trying to make her marriage work, Rosemary finally decided to leave. When she tried to get her children, Rosemary says that her ex-hubby would hear none of it. He managed to brain-wash their children of how she had 'abandoned' them to go to the US
What he doesn't say is that while she was in the US, she was sending him money for her kid's school fees, food, clothes and many others. She did this regardless of him remarrying and bearing other children. She finally got her kids and settled them in the US

Its very rare for a mother to leave behind the children she conceived, raised and loves, but for that to happen, there has to have been a painful reason, that must have tore her heart to pieces. How can a man be that cruel!! A man who hits a woman is a coward!! Especially one who hides behind the church, living a double life. I hope he has repented before God. Women (and men) lets not tolerate abuse in the hope that "things will get better" the abuser always feels empowered when the abuser sticks through the abuse. Thanks for sharing your side of the story, it is a learning tools to many going through the same. Pole sana for what you went through. keep your head up, and always remain in prayer.

Narcissists are all packaged the same; religious, love drama, play the victim and are always attracted to the best. Rosemary, you are the best. Your kindness, your empathy, and your ability to be a human placed you in that abusive relationship. I applaud you for being so strong and allowing your ex's empty soul to feed on your kindness for so long. When you describe him, I feel like you are describing my mom. I gave up on my mom though. I was not as strong as you are, my kindness was not enough to feed her dark soul. I felt her life was better off without me. Straining to please her was killing me. Plus her demeaning me in front of my husband and my kids was just too much for me. I chose to be a devil child and be happy. I'd rather go to hell for being a bad child than experience hell on earth in the hands of the one person who's supposed to protect and care for me.

God says vegeance ( God's holy anger ) is his and this unreal men end up far worse than their wives whom they have mistreated. To make matters worse some are" leaders " in the house of God thereby bringing shame to Christian fraternity. Wanjiru you are strong woman and God has more blessings in store for you.
