I just got offered an internship for this summer being a round and square baler design engineer at New Holland! I can't wait!
That’s awesome. Congrats.
I'm not a Ford guy these days. But growing up, my Father and his brother were Ford guys. I am still excited to see Ford written on those big machines. I wish they still built and sold tractors today. How easy it would be to purchase then maintain a tractor. If there were any problems, just head to a Ford dealer for resolution.
Awesome video dude. Thanks
Awesome history lesson. When my grandpa passed away and his Massey dealership closed down, we switched to New Holland and those blue machines helped our farm grow with some of those quality machines they did produce like the 70 series and the TS series tractors.
We owned 3 Ford tractors a 9600, 8600 and a Ford 5000 on our wheat and sheep farm here in Victoria Australia all three were a valuable asset to our interprise and performance wise very little downtime. They are a mighty tractor.
Wonderful history on Ford.Even though my grandfather ranched he did have two 9N's.I drove them well before i was able to get a licenses.Great video Mike...
I like all of Ford tractor very powerful work very well.
Ford built great tractors. I wish they were still in the tractor business.
Thanks for the history of the company. As a kid i loved the blue tractors of Ford. I never knew the full story of what happened in the Ford brand. Thanks so much for sharing.
Beautiful tractors! I love Fords
my dad bought a Ford 3000 1966 still remember the ride home from the dealership. since then we bought 14 blue tractors and still using them on the farm. great video
Wow very cool. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome to see people still love old ford tractors. We farm with all ford tractors in central MN.
Where by in central MN? I'm by Alexandria MN.
@@BillTheTractorMan around Watertown, MN
@@doublebfarms2313 nice! How's the soil there? Where I'm at it's like beach sand. Hard to get a decent crop here except small grain and hay.
@@BillTheTractorMan Qe are kinda in a swamp so there is a lot of black dirt here.
People seem to think farms keep old tractors, out of love. Everyone seems to forget farming is a business. It’s really kind of sad that we have disassociated farming to the point it’s viewed as a hobby.
FORD des tracteurs légendaires comme on n'en fait malheureusement plus.Robuste , fiable et costaud,👌👍😄💪❤️
BTP Thank you for the Blue you know I always request them Blue Tractors. And the history to go along with it man you knocked it out of the park
Best tractors out there for sure!!
This is a video not to miss, good old blues, that will be awesome
Awesome! I can't wait to watch it tonight. Ford had very reliable tractors.

Love blue tractors. Our farm has had several. Considerably cheaper than red or green, reliable, and in some ways very innovative (powershift transmissions).
We've had a Ford 7600, 7710 II, 5640, and a TS110. The TS110 is my absolute favorite tractor to load hay bales with.
And the TS sounds great to..the turbo whistle
Interesting video and very informative regarding corporate ownership changes. I remember my grandfather having an 8N and turning the rear wheels around to match the rows for cultivating corn in the early 50s. I have a 5000 from the 70s that just sits in a shed now but was a good tractor in its day.
Great video. Learned a lot about the genesis of Ford and New Holland. Thanks for the detailed work on this.
Great find on NH tractor models, I operate few NH n Ford like 5000, T6080 n T7.210 on dairy farm. Our farm we have two TM125 that does main workhorse work like feeding hay out, sowing with International 511 seeeder, spraying n pulling harvest equipment around. I was lucky get ride in T9 when it was laser grading fields, better for flood irrigation. Super smooth ride with no backache. Other NH driven TW 15, I didn’t like operating as chaser bin tractor. Best NH is TL80 awesome little tractor better then T6 models. Most weirdest NH tractor is Ford 6000 or 7000 with Rubix cube gearbox it took me while to operate into right gear, definitely one for skill operator.
Have a ford TW 20 love it.
We have a 1980 fully restored TW20 with a retrofitted mo trim mid mount long arm mower on it. Sweet set up for ditches and tree limbs around the farm.
A nice history of the Ford Tractor line.. I'd enjoy also seeing other makes...
Great video. I always liked the looks of the TW series tractors.
Ford 9600 best tractor ever made. Great video
Loved this video, showing old to new all out working in the fields. And you kept it all one color, Ford blue. Would love to see more like this of Allis Chalmers and White, with the silver ghost combines!
Nice to see the history. Our neighbors had a nice ford collection of older fords.
Love the Ford and New Holland tractors
Great tractors for sure.
Powerful tractor
Well edited. Just right time on each tractor. One of my favorites.
The best channel in this niche - no one has the formula like BTP does!
Ford will forever be my favorite, love seeing your videos dedicated to Blue Power
Great tractors. I hope to film a few more Ford’s this spring.
Love the footage of the TV6070, I did not know New Holland still made a version of the old Versatile Bi-directional tractor. Kool!!
I think they stopped after the TV6070 in 2014, which is a pity. I think a 105HP was a little limited by right they should have had a range of bi-directional tractor. A 300HP bi-directional tractor with triple mowers would be a great combination.
Great video! My maternal grandpa farmed with a 5000 and either an 8000 or 8600. One of the locals had an ex-Versatile Ford Bidirectional 276. The now-retired neighbors chopped our silage for years with an 8630 and then an 8830; as a kid I loved driving them. The 70 series Genesis are classics, and the guy renting the aforementioned neighbor's place bought an 8770 last year. A local custom operator had a pair of high-speed red Genesis 70s - the G190 (8770) and G210 (8870) from overseas. Now I'm running a T8.390 from their last production year -- it's a brute, especially with the power boost. Love that engine brake for pulling a manure tank in these hills. The T8.390 was huge when I bought it, but daggum if it didn't shrink up on me after I drove it a few days!!
Great blue history. Thank you for sharing.
@@bigtractorpower Our area is dominated by John Deere, and all our other tractors are green. But there's always been a pretty good Ford/New Holland presence. Dad used to work the books at the local New Holland dealership, and we now own the field where the old Ford dealer (different business) kept their used inventory before eventually relocating the whole place. We run several pieces of NH equipment along with Deere and a few others.
Here's to hoping we continue to have this Ford/New Holland brand that's always been the major player willing to invest in unique niche and often innovative machinery like the 6070 shown in here, like their early adoption of track systems, especially on fixed frames, etc.
None of the other major players have as unique a portfolio as the Ford/New Holland brand does
Bedankt
I’ve got a 1968 Ford 5000. Built in late 1968 when Ford put the larger engine in the 5000. Mine is a British built model which has different fenders and the head lights are mounted in the grill.
We have the one with the plastic grill, is suppose to be more powerful than the model with the steel grill.

I grew up Ford 😍.. first a 5000 then 5610.. then a 7700 ..then Tw-5 ...
i had a 5000 that i planted many acres with 6 row birch sword type planter
I've got to comment on this video. I love the blue tractors! Alltough I came from the terracotta side of New Holland. 👍👍
😍😍😍😍😍 ALWAYS LOVE THAT BLUE IN THE FIELD 👍👌💪
Love videos like this. Keep up the good work!!!
Just wish ford kept alive Henry's dream of the farm tractor. My dad worked for Ford tractor. It is so funny these videos always talk about horsepower. Torque is where tractors live...
Love the old Ford's! Running an 8700 that doesn't owe anyone a dime
Thanx for another great video, there are alot of ford fans here in the UK. The ten series are my favourite I have a 1989 ford 7610 now I'm retired. Regards from Lincolnshire in the UK. 🚜👍
Thank you for watching. Ford was very strong in the UK. The 7610 is a nice tractor. I hope to featuring a Ford FW60 Series IV in the UK this year.
Awesome. Spent a lot of time on a TW30 and TW35 that my uncle owned. The TW30 was a rebadged 9700 I think.
Another awesome video. We farm with green tractors, but I’ve always loved the older ford tractors.
Great video👍 nice to see the history of the blue tractors.
Just came across this channel, very cool. My grandfather had a Ford 6000 gas engine with the automatic transmission. It was good for hay work, baling, raking, pulling silage wagons but for heavy duty work it would overheat, never could figure it out. My uncle had a Ford 9600 and it would pull a 5-20s plow with ease. Very simple and rugged tractor.
i just love bigtractorpower ! i watching your vid's buddy
It kinda broke my heart when they stopped making the 6600, 7600, 8600 and 9700 ford's. I wanted them to keep making those...
Drove a 9600 for years, good times!
Very cool tractor.
I am glad to have operated the Ford tractor the Last one I was was the 8000 series I love there turnings ratio they out pulled the John deer all day
The Ford 8000 is one of the all time great tractors.
“my Father was the First Farmer in Oconto County, WI. To invest in the Cockshot 10’ Header Combine in the 1950s... he was So Proud that we Entered the Combine in the Annual Labor Day Parade in Suring , WI...”
You don't see many Ford tractors so its cool to see this video. Thanks I wish FORD still made tractors and big trucks. class 8 trucks that is. LOL
I still run a ford and new Holland equipment, good equipment
Very awesome video on some great machines, thanks for sharing
Love to see the ole girls still at work !!
😁👍👍
For sure tractors have came from very far,its a very intresting video showing us how far we have came, thanks for making this video sir, be blessed
Great video on Ford /New Holland 🚜 's
Great work btp..👍👍
You got me with this one!! So much great footage of great equipment!! Loved that 9600, 4000 row crop, and of course that 9700! Thanks for including that 2000. Dad started with a 63 2000 diesel he plowed, disked, planted and sprayed with. With diesel prices then he could run that tractor all day on $2.00 where others were $10. Great job putting this all together!
Quality Sir.............Thank You......
Thank you for watching.
AWESOME shot with the T8.390 coming around the corner!
That is one of my favorite filming opportunities with both CR8090’s swinging their augers out in unison.
Great video, I am a Deere guy, but I have a fondness for those Ford tractors. I would like to find and restore a narrow front end 1966 Ford Commander 6000. I love that blue / gray hood styling.
The genesis tractor row crops were amazing machines!! Do you have a video on just the 70 series?

Seeing that TW25 at 9:41, man that hits the nostalgia for me. Seeing a Blue tractor with the actual Ford name on the side with a pull type New Holland chopper is almost nonexistent these days. Everything in my area nowadays is all self propelled JD and Krone choppers. Miss the Ford New Holland days.
Everything up to the 8830 looked great, then they went downhill, style-wise.
Great video Jason!!!
old stuff,old memories,old guy watching!!
I’m 15
Thank you for creating this
My favorite is the 4000. Very versatile solid tractor!
Great tractor.
We had a Ford 9000 on the farm. I'm from up North. It was the only tractor we used year round. Awesome tractor. Hardly ever had any problems with it. Now the 2 Oliver's we had. Well let's just say when they ran they were good tractors. But we did have to work on them every year. Also had an 8n another awesome light duty tractor. It ran and ran would not stop. But it was more of a yard tractor. No real field work. Stretch alot of Barb wire fences with it!
That TV6070 looked pretty cool with them duals on!! Never seen them with duals!!
Not a farmer, but it was neat seeing the fw-60. I have a 1/64 model from my childhood. Also have tw-20 and tw-35
Just nice to watch........ Many Thanks.....
Awesome video as usual it was great seeing all the different years of forwards and and how they progressed and how they moved into a new Holland I was awesome
Thank you for watching. Tractors have come along way in the past half century.
That was great. Learned a lot about Ford. Love the color they chose.
Thank you for watching.
Love the Ford tractors!!!
I see blue tractors I hit like, I would have loved to see an 8600 but the 9600 was close enough. I love the thousand series Fords and always will. Jason this was a nice change of pace just tractors doing work and they were blue I can dig it.
True blue power!!!!
👍👍
At 3:08 I hear history that I wish newer happens, awesome video
I suppose the fiat part.?
@@maxthedogandfriends4812 If I can explain like this, I love Ford tractors and I also love Fiat tractors and love Case International, I just wish they all still operates as stand alone products, I miss Ford and are so glad for many people that preserve them. You sound South African, I am staying the Western Cape
@@jankotze1959 I understand. Thanks for the reply. I agree brands should stand alone. But you should know that some brands are just more reliable then others.
@@maxthedogandfriends4812 Very true
We had a tr70 great combine, tl100 and I still have a little Ford tractor I use in the garden we have case and Kubota big tractors but I still like the blue ones as well
Well done BTP, really nice video
That TV 6070 looks amazing
It’s a cool tractor.
Excellent video 👍👍👍
Greetings from Scotland 🏴
Very nice video. love the Fords
Well done Big tractor power
TM series hugely popular in Ireland and many of them still going strong. Very reliable, durable workhorse especially the TM150
👍👍
Great video!
That TW15 in the beginning was the Best
My family has used Ford tractors since grandpa traded the Clydesdale mules for a Fordson. We have used blue tractors eversince
Very cool history. 😁👍
Grew up running a Ford 6000. Dad was looking for a tractor. The local dealer had a JD 4020 and a Ford 6000 With a 4 bottom plow. Yep, the plow was the clincher. Dad has left us, but I still have the 6000.🚜
Most in video are loved tractors all in fanaminal shape all painted up looking as good if not some better then new i even like that blue and black ford bigmofo great looking versatile ford 2
Wow, thank you! Can't wait to see this!
Not all blue was good but there was a lot of it used around Australia, especially in the southern Tablelands of NSW.
Looking forward to thanking you in person at the NFM show next month.

Jason (Big tractor power) did a lot of videos from it last year along with some other CZcams content creators.
I have always loved the old Versatile / Ford / New Holland "push me | pull you" tractors.
I still have a Ford 4100. He never had a problem with the motor, transmission, clutch or breaks.
Ford built some great tractors. What do you use the 4100 for?
The Ford 2000 is my favorite
Nice 9700, but the guy was lugging it big-time. Throttle it up.
Excellent video
A wonderful video on Ford and then New Holland Tractor power. Love the awesome power. What do you think will be the limit on horsepower and size? Thanks. - Dean from Minnesota
Very very nice jason
Awesome video
Wish you had shown the always dependable 5600, along with the 7700 and the British built 7710 cab tractors, hopefully next time
Those would all be great to feature. I just need to locate them to film.
That was a fun video. The production Quality was very Good.
Would you do a video on the Ford 3930 and 4630 series? I Broke a Guinness World Record on the 4630. Now it has been reduced to more mundane Chores like Hauling in Firewood and Bushhoging the yard.
When we Moved to this Ranch House My teenage Daughter Drove the 4630, 22 miles pulling the Camper Through a Narrow Canyon in some spots with a high wall on one side and a Drop off down into a Rocky Creek Bed on the other. Then at the Top of the Canyon Through a Tunnel. That was a Fun Drive. I Followed her in the Tactical Adventure Hunting Buick.
The 3930 I used as a Weed Mowing Contractor. Doing Property Cleanup, Landscaping and Bushhoging weeds and sagebrush. Keep up the good work! M.H.
We bought our 3930 new in 97 and going on 23 years of dependable flawless service. Its the smallest tractor we own but the one that the most hours get put on every year!
