Y'all know I'm a selfish otter, the Iron Crown is heavy. Although UU, is making its way up to OU thanks to its ability to hard check two of the most annoying leads in the metagame: Glimmora and Samurott-H. Iron Crown completely shuts even max HP Glimmora down with Tachyon Cutter, Iron Crown's signature steel-type move which hits the opponent twice. It's a special move that beats Focus Sash, and since Iron Crown naturally outspeeds Glimmora, its the perfect move to beat it. Against Samurott-H, you can pivot out with Volt Switch into a hazard clearer like Great Tusk, or you can go for Focus Blast: if Samurott is Choice Scarf, you will tank a Ceaseless Edge and kill with Focus Blast; if its Focus Sash, you can kill it the next turn with Volt Switch or switch into a Rocky Helmet user. This team also features revenge killer Meowscarada, momentum-stealer Gouging Fire, Kingambit and Skarmory.
