Getting started with MIDI, DAWs and Virtual Instruments

Recently I started to re-explore composing MIDI music after stepping away from it more than 20 years ago. A lot changed in two decades and there is a ton to learn. It's been a ton of fun and I wanted to share it all with you. So in this video, I'll go through the basics of MIDI, DAWs and Virtual Instruments, and tell you where you can get software and virtual instruments for free. Is there any free instruments for midi? For example for using with Waveform 13.
