10 Hours of Gout Tubers OSRS Challenge. Today we go out and cut jungle in Tai Bwo Wannai and see how many gout tuber plants we can obtain in 10 hours. No spoilers, but we actually ended up making a bunch of money for a fairly afk process.
Gout tubers are useful plants for Iron men accounts and normal accounts as both needed for medium Karamja Diary. They are in high demand for this reason and is why this method of collecting gout tubers is highly profitable.
With minimum requirements this might be the best afk money making method in OSRS period. Seriously it's really good and if you need some easy cash with low effort go out and do this!

I've actually been wondering for years why there are no gout tuber bots. Easiest fucking script you can make.
In case anyone is still watching this. This information is incorrect 3:26, the Gout Tuber is not calculated when the jungle is cut down, but rather considered another random event (you can clearly see it spawned even though it was on stage 3). Cutting down the Dense Jungle with the slowest machete will yield the fastest results as you spend more overall time cutting and will spawn more randoms per jungle.

I remember doing this on RS3 back in the day. Not only did you get Gout Tubers, but you also got the proboscis from the mosquitoes, which were really pricy stackable summoning ingredients. Such a hidden gem of a money making method.
In the first few months when osrs came out, I used to grind gnome scarves and sell them. I think I was one of very few people selling it so I made a bit of bank. So I stumbled across something by accident. When you max out your gnome delivery token you can start skipping your current delivery for free. And as Captain Ninto or daerkin gives the chance of a gnome scarf, you just keep skipping clients until you get one of them when you have a maxed token. I wouldn't say it's consistent but I used to average 2 scarves an hour and I think they go for about 670-720k now. Honestly though, you could sometimes go 2 hours without getting one and other hours getting 5 or 6, Just RNG.
Also, it takes a while to get the maxed token, you'll have to do a few hours of clients, but once you have it, you just go through the dialogue until you find out who the new client is and if it isn't Ninto or daerkin, you just talk to the person again and repeat till you get one of those guys. Sometimes it takes a while to get them.
There are very low requirements to do this mini game, so most accounts can do it.
As a 6 hour dry ironman this video triggers me

I started this video on my gout tuber grind on trailblazer and dead ass 5 seconds after I saw you found yours early in the video I found mine. The rng is insane.
You could buy uncooked karawambs and cook them (works with potatoes as well), smithing cannonballs, fletching diamond bolt tips or making teleport tabs
3 hours into my grind... watched this video out of desperation and got it too!! Swear this video is a good luck charm.
I saw quite a few people in Tai Bwo Wannai presumerably doing this today! I was there a few times between 6 hours and I saw at least 3 people at all times clearing the jungle bushes. I highly doubt they were doing it to get favor, since I saw some of them repeatedly.
EDIT: Also I spent quite a few hours just to get gout tubers a while back. I didn't get a single one. I'm jealous of your luck.

Honestly, recently found out that steam runes are absolutely insane. They're like 7k less xp per hour than lavas, but you make 600k gp an hour instead of losing 100k an hour. Makes runecrafting feel so rewarding, but 10 hrs of that might kill a man.
How do you go about crafting them? Abyss?
What I used to do is gnome restaurent. Making like 10 of each food before starting doing it. Than i was only going for the Grand Seed Pod drop so I was only doing deleveries to : Wingstone, Penwie, Brambickle and Professor Manglethorp. You get 5 grand seed pod which usually sell like 150k ea so it's like 750k when you get it but sometimes it sells for like 200k ish so it can go for 1m per drop.

As a fellow non restrictive iron i farmed the same area for a good 12 hours for diary and to get my first fashionscape set, when i was whipping the trees someone in next one over cut theirs down, revealed a tuber and they didnt dig it up went to next tree. i then explained it worth a ton of coins and he shrugged it off till i dropped him my shovel to dig it up, safe the say the guy was over the moon. i had to go back to ardy to get a shovel thou lol.
i remember cutting these as a kid in rs2 and tai bwo wannai helped me gett my zgs which then was 27m and i wanted it for so long

actually it's every random event where you would get a gout tuber so it makes sense to cut dense jungle while having a lvl 5 snake atk you to keep the mobs from atking you. make sure auto retaliate is off.

It should be noted that if you want to kill the Broodoos to not deal with their toxicity, each of the three variants has a certain consumable or class of consumable that you can use on them to deal a lot of damage (white = food, yellow = relicym's balm, green = any antipoison.) Killing them any other way is inefficient due to your damage being scaled down drastically.

Gnome restaurant I have made 5m in a hour before. You have to get your reward mushroom full with 10 pieces of food saved then u can skip any number of tasks and farm ninto, daerkin, penwie, and wingstone for gnome scarves and seed pods avg 2m an hour
@statistically challenged, a weird money maker and hunter method is collecting sand worms and selling back to the shop or straight to the fisherman fishing anglers on Zeah. i currently do this on ults and my ironman. its great for early hunter levels, and skipping stuff like mass bird hunting. you need favor in precilious house though around 30% i think but you can get a head start on this by doing client of kourend. let me know if you find any interest in this.
Before they patched it, clans would do this as a group activity. In 1.5 hours we got 11 tubers per person with maybe about 9 people and we’d sell overnight so prices wouldn’t drop. So before the patch it was pretty much 5m/hr with a decent sized group lol
I did this mini game a couple of months ago and got like 7 in 2 hours... honestly there's not enough coming into the game so for those who actually do this mini game they will be rewarded!

Using the agility shortcut to get in (lvl 70 agility), go to the blue dragons in the Taberly dungeon and pick up leftover bones and hides from people doing slayer. People who’re just trying to get their tasks done fast use a cannon and melee a bunch and don’t bother with the bones or hides. Finding two worlds of people doing slayer and alternating to fill up inventories quick should be way faster money than killing them yourself.

I love your videos, but its really funny whenever you do a "PVM" challenge which gains you some decent money, whatever item that was just TANKS on the GE lol.
You get one first chop and I'm over 4 hours in on an ironman without one. I might start crying soon
You should bring some coins as well, because you can buy antipoisons at the general store, and those can be used to cure poison as normal, but also to hurt broodoo victims which are otherwise fairly annoying to defeat as they drain combat stats and such. Because of that, you may want to bring a single 4 dose normal restore potion as well, but not a necessity.
How do I know all of this? Because I stayed there for 20 hours to get a single fucking gout tuber before. I don't think I've been that unlucky in RuneScape ever before.

Unless they patched it, multiple people should be able to get a gout tuber from a single spawn (regardless of who spawned it). If you have some friends or other accounts you can have everyone use the spade the tuber at the same time and each person will receive a tuber.
