Testing the NIKON Z6 for FILMMAKING - First Impressions

- Nikon Z6 with 24-70 F4 Kit Lens Test footage and first impressions. Here is some footage that I shot on my new Nikon Z6 combined with the 24-70 Kit lens. Hey are you able to select 24.00hz in the Nikon Z6 instead of shooting at the NTSC 59.98 setting?
What I mean is... are you able to choose a different mode other than NTSC, PAL... can you choose a cinema mode 24.00 option?
Yes, I think that's possible, personally I've never tried that, put I'm pretty sure it works, but it might be better for you, to do some more research on that :)
They are just so easy to use - hybrid work especially. The log video will be cool.

Hi! I've just downloaded your HE-LOG before purchasing your LUTS for it, it's really nice, but there is something: Is it posible is interfering with autofocus?
Ill reply myself according to Nikon website:
Yes, it makes autofocus almost unusable :(
While N-Log recording is in effect, Picture Controls cannot be used, ISO sensitivity cannot be set lower than ISO 800 or to values of from Hi 0.3 to Hi 2, Active D-Lighting and high ISO noise reduction turn off automatically, and photographs will not be taken when the shutter-release button is pressed all the way down. The camera may also have trouble focusing; this is not a malfunction.
Hi, intresting, I haven't seen that issue before, usually it AF should work fine in LOG to :)

looks quite good but the a7iii would be a way better option for around the same price imo. but it's just personal preference i guess. also comparing it to the cropped sensor a6500 is a bit unfair haha

Yes, I'm currently working on that and I will make a video about it and create a product on my store that you can download for free to get the same profile :)
The 24-70mm lens has no VR, only the body has IBIS! So you'll get the same stabilisation with any lens.

@@prod.bymoodie In theory it works with other lenses. But IBIS is only effective for wider focal lengths (under 50mm). Once you go past 85mm, optical stabilization in lens is way more effective and critical compared to IBIS.
