I got baby locs at the moment. Love it when I do a wash and realize that they're still maintained and better still when I notice a new twist forming all on its own. It's high end technology!

I feel that my only regret is that I did not educate myself about freeform dreads. I started with interlock and thought that was the only way to lock my 3b/3c hair type. I have decided to go the freeform route though! going on three months free form, after 4 months of interlocking.
It's never too late, look at lil Wayne. He didn't cut em off, he just stopped doing maintenance. I've seen many a people go from interlocked to freeform, it doesn't take long for the undergrowth to start and shortly after you get some serious Congo's a.k.a wicks going on.
I'm at 6 months on my 3rd and final set there just now showing some progress ...love the content as always
Great video!! I'd have to say best part of my freeform journey would have to be the confidence boost it gave me. Worst part, starting with a fade n now wanting to grow the sides back out 3 years n🤣🤣

When I was first starting my locs all my homeboys was telling me I should cut that shit off, and told me I was looking crazy, and all that. I didn't let it effect me, eventually they was all asking how they could do it, and wishing they had locs. Now im 12 or 13 years in, and love my locs, they get compliments everyday... had one woman offer my $10k to buy my locs, I declined but was flattered! Stick with it, you'll be happy you did, and them same people hating now, will be jealous later

I just stopped shaving 3 weeks ago now I start to see the hair again from zero fade I know I will have a long way to go but am determined this time

im at just over 2 months and the best part is showing off my uniqueness the worst duh is just the time it takes for them to form better

OK I have been growing my hair for two years freeform I went to a professional supposedly to get it washed and to add a brown dark brown color to it she washed it added the color and started ripping my hair apart twisting it and made it into a style I kept the stall in for two days and immediately took it out so now my freeform locks have dropped because of her so I have a question and my question is Am I no longer freeform because of it

Sup bro 🤝 I have a 20 year crop and after watching your channel and thriller with the bean stark I went the rubber band way instead of paying a loctician to dig up my hair to get wicks. I do appreciate you guys for real. My locs is almost 3 feet tall and I do appreciate the info from the rubber band gang 🤝 one question, do I need to change the bands every month? not a bad idea..rubberbands will break down into the hair and leave a tangled mess.
