Hello all,
Welcome to a Victorian model railway exhibition video. Today we are in Warragul, where they are hosting this year's Latrobe Valley Model Railway Association's annual exhibition. This video is the first of two parts that covers all of the layouts/displays on offer. The exhibition is usually held in Morwell, but because of renovations with the regular hall, a substitute was found in the Warragul Exhibition Hall. This is a smaller exhibition compared to ones seen in other videos, hosting 15 stands, of which 12 are layouts and 3 are traders. Most of the layouts were either 1:76 or 1:87 scale, and either Australian, American, British or German-themed.
In this part we take a look at 5 of the 12 layouts on display.

The Latrobe Valley Model Railway Association is situated in Moe, which annually hosts a model railway exhibition. Usually the exhibition is held during the Queen’s/King’s Birthday long weekend in June, but renovations have meant a change in time and location to the Warragul Exhibition Hall.

I make a monthly news video covering model railways in Australia! It has all the exhibitions at the end, this exhibition was in it for sometime!

Great layouts, got to see my fav loco the VR Y class.
One thing though, Warragul isn't in the Latrobe Valley, its West Gippsland. Moe, Morwell & Traralgon are in the Latrobe Valley.

You are indeed correct, but the name Latrobe Valley is connected to the club’s name who have their clubrooms located in Moe. Usually the exhibition is held in Morwell, but the hall was unavailable last year, thus being moved to Warragul. Should note this information was in the description.
@@Comeng998 Makes sense. Wish I was living back in Melbourne. I'd shoot down the highway for a look. The model railwqy scene here in adelaide isn't great.
