    Great looking build. I like how you mounted everything nice and snug inside the frame of the kart. Could you go into a little more detail on how and what you used to retread the tires? That usually seems to be the biggest problem with toys like these. Thank you!

      Sorry it took so long to respond haven't neen on my page in a while. I bought cheep harbor freight pneumatic tires and cut the tread off to size. I used a black 3m adhesive i believe for windshields to glue to the existing tires, scuff the solid tires for better adhesion.i then put the tire on the rear axle and ran the cart in the air. I used a xourse sandpaper to smooth them out and viola! Retread!

    I built one of these to 48v too and itll run 32 down hill and 28 on flat with 15/30 gearing and solid wheels all around like the fronts. How did u make your wheels?

      The rubber I used was from pneumatic tires purchased from harbor freight

      im using stock with 48v 1800w, if that helps.. . . stock wheels , unfortunately

    20 mph is so fast for a cart. Maybe you can think about getting a harbor freight engine on the cart.
