I have been facing this issue for almost a year now and also dry mouth. Let me ask a question please. I eat once a day, and i brush afterwards with an electric toothbrush. Im thinking of having whitening done proffesionally with laser ect. Just a tip I hear from other dental videos: Don't rinse out the toothpaste from your teeth. Just spit it out and leave it on. You can use mouthwash 30 minutes after brushing or use it at different times of the day😁

Is sensodine toothpaste ok to use? I have sore gums so I’m going to start soon as my gums bleed when flossing. Very sore I just started flossing I’m still practicing. I’ll be using bicarb soda to brush teeth too, someone said salt and bicarb soda to brush, and another dr mentioned rinsing with hydrogen peroxide :)
what i find helpful is if you get those little interdental brushes and put toothpaste on it while flossing in between teeth. after doing this i find my gums are much healthier

I'm not a dentist but my understanding is that you use mouthwash first and then brush. Do not rinse because rinsing the toothpaste will wash away the fluoride that strengthens your enamel on your teeth.
Before this video ..I watched a video of another dentist ..she said that any mouthwash with fluoride is good and u can use it half an hour after brushing if u have brushed Ur teeth..but u said it's something u dont recommend... I'm confused
The message in the video was that the mouthwashes with fluoride are good (because of extra fluoride)) but it'll be less work just changing your toothpaste to high-fluoride-content toothpaste. Purely a convenience thing. Hope that helps.

Let me ask a question please.
I eat once a day, and i brush afterwards with an electric toothbrush.
Im thinking of having whitening done proffesionally with laser ect.
So my quistion is:
If using mouthwash everyday isent benefitial (witch i did dayily after brush) then would it make sence
to use the mouthwash daily, to rince off cofee wich i have daily once in the morning?
Is this a good tactic? Would it make sence? Or should i just brush again? Or do something else?

Does Bi-Carb Soda = Sodium Bicarbonate/Baking Soda (USA)? Seems self-explanatory but I just wanna make sure.
I wondered the same thing - online it says that they are different terms for the same product- AUS, NZ and the UK use the term 'Bicarb soda', and the US uses 'baking soda'

I water down my mouth wash for a final rinse.
Just a tip I hear from other dental videos: Don't rinse out the toothpaste from your teeth. Just spit it out and leave it on.
You can use mouthwash 30 minutes after brushing or use it at different times of the day😁
@@angryraisin Um, ya but you’re not supposed to keep it on forever lol, toothpaste is not edible and it’s recommended to leave it on for awhile after brushing, but to rinse it off eventually
@@thetiredworm2100 The toothpaste wouldn't stay on forever because we eat and drink. So it's kind of impossible to have it on for extended periods of time.
why bother with mouthrinse for fluoride when toothpaste has more

Yes they are great! Apparently, when using an electric toothbrush.. you are pretty much brushing your teeth back and forth 1,000 times faster/etc (metaphorically, but you know what I mean) 👍🏽

electric toothbrushes are great, just avoid your gums and try not to brush your teeth too long or scrub your teeth too hard taking off the enamel layer
Is sensodine toothpaste ok to use? I have sore gums so I’m going to start soon as my gums bleed when flossing. Very sore
I just started flossing I’m still practicing.
I’ll be using bicarb soda to brush teeth too, someone said salt and bicarb soda to brush, and another dr mentioned rinsing with hydrogen peroxide :)
what i find helpful is if you get those little interdental brushes and put toothpaste on it while flossing in between teeth. after doing this i find my gums are much healthier

@@newt2120 they are little toothpick size brushes that you can use for the gaps in between your teeth. They come in a variety of size for different size gaps. Tepe and Piksters are some known brands

I use mouthwash every night for sore throat. I hold the mouthwash in my throat for a minute and then spit it out. Should i stop it? It works for me, if i stop it, my sore throat keeps increasing.

As mentioned in the video, there's no need to use most of the mouthwashes. Chlorhexidine mouthwash and bicarb ones are great for the reasons explained
The truth is more than 50% adults in developed countries use mouth wash everyday. I've been Listerine for years, my docotor never sees any side effects.

I'm not a dentist but my understanding is that you use mouthwash first and then brush. Do not rinse because rinsing the toothpaste will wash away the fluoride that strengthens your enamel on your teeth.
Before this video ..I watched a video of another dentist ..she said that any mouthwash with fluoride is good and u can use it half an hour after brushing if u have brushed Ur teeth..but u said it's something u dont recommend... I'm confused
The message in the video was that the mouthwashes with fluoride are good (because of extra fluoride)) but it'll be less work just changing your toothpaste to high-fluoride-content toothpaste. Purely a convenience thing. Hope that helps.

@@Iam_OkemsDaniel i may be wrong about the cavity but it also might be to much plaque build up around your teeth / or too much force, to get rid of it , you have to brush your teeth (not softly nor the hard, just perfect,) 2 times every day, flossing , 2x mouth wash may remove the blood. If not then go to the dentist to see whats going on.

That's normal. It's caused by buildup of plaque at your gum line. It will most likely go away if you brush your teeth often

You should try alcohol free type, they are more gentle and less stingy. Just got mine today and am loving it. While Listerine made me gag and it burns me real bad ☹
@@_sue8447 Yeah. The alcohol neutralises the PH in your mouth, which makes your toothpaste ineffective as well. Go alcohol/acid free.
