- I've officially stopped with Undertale. I've nearly ran out of endings, and Im also getting super bored of it, which is proven by me stalling to make the endings, it went from 1 day, to an entire week now. Im thinking of just doing gameplay videos with friends and stuff (like the up coming Minecraft hardcore series), or something else creative. Im sorry it ends here, the train was good while it lasted. True fans will stay here and wait for whats yet to come, others will leave, obviously. I hope you guys enjoy what I have planned for this channel, have a good day. (Maybe I'll try animation????????)

with only asgore dead, the monsters are still friends with you. undyne doesn't blame you for asgore's death. sans still roots for ya, papyrus, well, is still papyrus. mettaton is doing fine. toriel takes care of the citizens. they all hope to see you again. this is easily the best neutral ending
I think this is the best ending that it's possible to get on your first playthrough (you can't get to the True Lab until your second).

And that's what actually going genocide means, you just want to *GET EVERYTHING*, trading your soul after destroying everything to see everything is merely symbolic, as Chara represents the player in us that tends to disregard whatever emotional value for the sake of getting all the content. Thus, in the end, you are that player.
In that same line, Dr. Gaster represents the sage who seeks unfathomable knowledge. Mining through the abyss of the game's reality where less and less makes sense. Gaster wasn't left 'unfinished' entirely, he was put unfinished to be the found.

The real ending is the ending you get ITS YOUR ENDING its what you've worked up to you decided your fate and the monster's fate You may have killed them all you may have spared them all you may have killed specifics
The true ending is the ending you've worked up to
Personally the real ending will always be the one where you save all your friends and helped them escape the underground

I find Genocide to be *Realistic* What i mean is its not very realistic in the fact that a Possesed child kills the underground but i find it more Real.We humans get scared from things we dont understand and that fear turns into Hatred and Anger and humans literally kill eachother so im sure if a human fell they would Kill alot of the monster from fear

Numbers in usernames typically reflect birth years, and according to Sans, Papyrus has "never seen a human", meaning he must have been born in 2095 (or he just didn't know Chara personally, but he also didn't know who Toriel was). Undertale takes place in the future.

How do you even get this ending? I mean if I help Alphys and Befriend her as well as Papyrus and Undyne, then I get sent straight to the True Pacifist events... What do I do to get this ending?

imma describe this in full detail: after a neutral run befriending undyne, load your save file, go to undyne and get her letter, go to the date, ignore papyrus’ phone call after it about going to the lab, go to the river person, hotland, take the elevator to the mtt hotel, core, castle, back to asgore, fight him, and then get this ending
And no matter what apart from that one near geno ending, if you kill mettaton eventually alphys will commit suicide

This was my first ending, then Flowey told me to talk to Alphys again to get a better one. That's when I got the letter and went to the true lab and then got my true pacifist ending. Incredible game.

This song is so powerful. In other neutral ending it feels so sad and desolate but in this one it feels a little happy and melancholy. It's such a good piece of music because it can feel totally different in different situations despite being the same song.

nO, actually is the best neutral ending only they couldn't break the barrier.
Fun fact: If you hack the Dog Item into your inventory before leaving the first room when you start a run, and keep it the whole run, and get this ending, when you get this call, the game names itself “UnderDog” This only works if you get this ending and Hack the dog in before leaving the first room. Although if you have done a full Genocide before, the title doesn’t change for some reason.
if you want to stop the characters from remembering you, you just have to delete the save files
There’s also an ending if you fulfill all the requirements for this except befriending Alphys. It’s very similar though; Alphys is just absent and Undyne talks to herself instead. It's pretty much the ending everyone gets attempting pacifist their first time.

I've never seen Alphys talk on the phone in the ending before! Meaning I really missed out on "She's so tsundere" and (starts singing) AAAALL WE EVER DOOOOO IS SAAAAAY GOODBYYYYE, OH AAAALL WE EVER DOOOOOOO IS SAAAAAY GOODBYYYYYYYE!
You can see this ending when you make friends with everyone but not entering the True Lab. If you enter the true lab, then your ending will be Pacifist ending. But however if you didn't, you will end up in Neutral ending even you spared everyone. But the bad thing is that Asgore gets killed and flowey turns into a horrible monster and you have to get past through it.
i played through undertale only one time, pacifist. it was a nice game, a cool one. but nothing to stick on to. now, a year later, I'm watching this. And I see how many things I missed, playing it only once through.

@@ihavethehighground8697 There's still a barrier there, though. Unless Sans can somehow teleport past it, I don't think they can get out at all without a human soul and/or large enough amounts of determination. And I think we all know why the latter wouldn't end well...
Barrier encompasses the whole underground, like a sphere. It’s said that anything can enter, but nothing can exit, that explains falling humans.
Also, if there was a way, some flying or swimming monsters (in Waterfall for example) would have eventually figured it out. But that’s just the way I see it.
