Green is an underrated color. As a personal favorite, green is terrific and draws more compliments than other, more predictable, colors. Thanks for bringing up the subject, well done 👍. Cheers

I like the pairing with the chambray. The chambray grounds it in workwear, the jacket elevates it to smart, and green colour bridges the two.

Agree on chambray, but also dark navy, black or cream.

Mr. Modoo does a good job of giving his straight opinion even though this is for sale through his company. I happen to like the green and I like that he isn't just pushing it to push everything.

      @@RampleyandCo I have some questions:
      1) Where, or How can I purchase a Denim Shirt like the shirt Mr. Modoo is wearing in this video ?.. (Brand ?..)
      2) What Brand or kind of Tie Neck Collar Pin/Clip does Mr. Modoo wear ?..
I am revamping my Wardrobe & I would greatly appreciate this info, thank you, & have a wonderful day.

      1. It is bespoke with Canclini cloth. 2. The tie bar is from Chester Barrie (no longer trading) but they sell them in J Press and you may find online under “collar holder”. My ties are always Rampley & Co

I have a double breasted close to this same color and I love wearing it. The thing about green is people don't wear it enough. It works for a lot of occasions as much as a Blue jacket does. Everything here is spot on but if I could make a change it would be the tie for something with brighter colors. Not tacky or over the top solid but splashes of brightness (Mustard or golden yellows for instance) with a pocket square that helps set it off. I often wear a boutonniere with it to help with the color splashes as well.I picked up a box of different colors on amazon and everyone likes them. I also have a green tweed in hearing bone pattern that is a stand by in my closet during cooler months. I like that with a pale yellow dress shirt and loafers to make a smart but casual look. Green to me is a great color with almost as much versatility as my Navy jacket has. Not going to a funeral in it though.

I really enjoyed this video, as the combinations are just the way I like them, amazing! And especially how Chris explained it. My sport costs are mostly green & brown and I love wearing them, always have, greens probably the most.

I understand how you feel about the green jacket. I chose an easier way of getting into wearing green. I started with a grey herringbone pattern with a touch of green mixed in. From 2 meters away, it looks like a light grey jacket, but up close you can see the green in the herringbone pattern.

I have a dark olive sports jacket and love it. I am not a fan of grey pants, but rather khaki, bark, and navy. Olive and green jackets and pants are underrated, but not uncommon in the USA

Green jackets I can get behind but I still haven't sold myself on green pants. I've only owned one pair and that was back in middle school in 02. I don't think I'm ready for olive/green etc pants yet.

There are all shades of green. You won't catch me in a green coat with golpher green pants but pine needle or Dark green is another conversation.

What a delightful tutorial! I just received my green wool-linen-silk jacket, perfect for spring/summer. The green and earthy browns seem to be my color palette and Chris presents multiple ideas I can use to spice up or tone down a look. I particularly enjoy his review of textures - not just color - to enhance an ensemble. Personally, I think I'll add more orange in pocket squares, as he's hinted, to complement the green. And his outfit? Killer! Love the slanted jacket pockets and contra-posing angle of the pocket square that replicates the wide, peak lapel. He leaves nothing to chance. Style King! Terrific video!

I’m surprised that you didn’t emphasize the texture/weave of the green jacket. I find that just as interesting as the color. Years ago I had a hopsack jacket I what is sometimes called bottle green. I think it paired quite nicely with either navy trousers or very light khaki. While the color definitely pinned it as a less formal outfit, it t was nice to have something that didn’t scream that you headed straight to the pub from work.
I really love your tie choices with this jacket.

If you have lighter coloured hair, green is the way...and if you wear with charcoal trousers or dark brown it works perfect.

I have a wonderful green tweed suit and am really wanting to pair the jacket with other colours and textures. I liked the video, but found that the colour of your blazer certainly did not shout out 'green' but more of a dark brown colour which was a shame. I certainly dont feel the need to explore a 'Masters' golf toned green jacket, but a green, which came across as such, mid renge would be helpful. Having said that, many thanks for at least exploring the combination.

For years worn a forest green { think Masters} blazer as a spring alternative to a navy blazer . Wear with the same shirt and tie combinations as a navy blazer. With all due respect to Mr. Modoo I would not consider this olive jacket a green blazer.
