    Yes. Its nice to build new infrastructure but we should have an agency to maintain them!

    It was 1970's the pnp kill it, then in 1980's the jlp restart it.

    ...but in a new version...county based public works with counties being fiscally and technically empowered in order to more quickly/grass-roots sensitively maintain infrastructure. We need to stop following modern neoliberal models from tge US/England.
    No, one head office will lead to sluggish response times and insensitive focus/impact on the island's many fast growing communities in terms of who gets what, when, where and why. This is called spatial DISECONOMIES OF SCALE (which wastes time and taxes).
    Seaga dismantled the parish councils powers in the 1980s under pressure from the IMF's Structural Adjustment Program. Use the island's three counties creatively to empower the resource smaklee/weaker and spatially fragmented parish councils to be able to do more for their communities.
