it felt borderline therapeutic to be on the other side of this experience. like i lowkey relate to this character bc it always feels like there might be a random, small mistake or accident that would be the last straw in a given relationship, even if, logically, i know a broken sentimental object wouldn’t be any kind of big deal beyond an apology, help with a safe clean-up, and /maybe/ helping to replace it. even so, the what-ifs are enough to spook me. so to hear this play out and know that i couldn’t bring myself to be angry at an imaginary partner is /so/ reassuring.
also, the acting was just 👌🏻perfect👌🏻; everything felt very genuine, and it was super immersive. keep doing what you’re doing :]

No, we aren't the abusers. I took from it that he's been abused in the past, possibly by a parent, so that when he accidentally broke something he was scared to tell "us" because in the past he was abused afterwards for it and don't know any other response
