it's always funny when the modern audience never shows up, but even if they do it's almost nobody, which means either way these games end up going broke, i guess that will teach these wokies, but no, none of them uses common sense, they always double down that these people exist, but only on twitter apparently lol, and even then most of those people are likely bots anyhow lol.
they so desperately want to believe they are the majority of people or the most prominent or they are right, when they couldn't be more wrong.
in my opinion, the only way of getting rid of all of this delusional nonsense is to allow each of these industries to go for broke, and from then on we start over and hopefully we never make the same mistakes ever again when that empire is built up again, no more Hollywood weirdos running things into the ground.

I will be straight up...I do not want to play a game that is poorly written and developed, because they put race/gender/DEI crap ahead of game play and fun...If they perceive that as sexism or racism then that's on them not me. They can't force me to play their crap and they can't make go away...I guarantee the fans will outlast them. Also why should i care about Dumbledors preferences...if it is important then is there a list of what every other characters preferences are? It added nothing to the story.

I really wish more channels would go over DEI material more frequently. It's really eye opening to actually read it straight from the horse's mouth, with no spin or out of context quotes.. I feel like this needs to be done again and again to showcase just how crazy the mandates are and how we're NOT exaggerating it's negative effects. Also taking a dive into how ESG funds work and how they can be gamed for infinite free money on failed projects. The material is out there and readily available.

I remember when they were still trying to convince everyone GamerGate was a bunch of bigoted tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorists and claiming there was NOTHING to any of GamerGate's claims... now they're outright saying "Yes, it's real. It's happening and if you don't like it you're the problem". This is an admission that GameGate was right all along.
The strategy hasn't changed. Stop conducting all business with companies and people who hate you. Do not engage with them in any capacity. Ignore them and pretend they don't exist. If enough of us do, we won't have to pretend for long. And remember, in a capitalist free market this is our right as consumers. We aren't doing anything wrong with this strategy. We are merely exercising our consumer's rights to choose who we do and do not do business with.
I have never felt obligated to buy anything from anyone, and these days that couldn't be any more true.
I owe these companies absolutely nothing and if they feel the need to constantly ruin things for an audience that not only hates me but actively goes against everything I believe and won't even buy said products anyway then yes I will exercise my right of discretion of my financials to avoid giving them any money. Either give the people what they want or don't be surprised when they don't show up to buy your slop.

This is what turned me off games journalism the first time round. They, as a whole, decided gamers were not their audience and were the bad guys rather than separate "gamer gaters" from their audience as "harrassers".

The thing that I hate about this is that these people pushed their way into the videogame space, demanded that things be altered to suit them, when things were changed (leading to poor sales) then turn round and blame the community for those failures. Then they scream and cry when the community that they've infiltrated and attacked starts pushing back.
It is always something. Unless we start pushing back and saying "no!" they will never stop complaining, whinging, and not really just playing and enjoying it. They're in it for everything but gaming.

Even if such a thing does exist they certainly do not purchase products they never ever ever purchase actual products. I have a feeling Keza MacDonald is probably going to help ruin Fromsoftware and other Souls games, as she inserted herself into the community years ago and since then, a ton of things about the community started changing. We went from having Male/Female options to Body Type A and B. Random Characters are now "Non-binary" or Trans" for no real reason. People even stopped saying things like "Git Gud" so I know someone has been influencing things somewhere.
Always be suspicious when things suddenly shift in a way that looks distinctly a certain way.
I mean unfortunately a bunch of the fandoms have been infiltrated by these lunatics and I don't know if we can actually get them out but it's clear their influence has come through one way or the other.

There are literally thousands of games that have been made in the last forty years that I have never played. Being a working married man and a parent limits gaming time. I could literally stop buying new games right now and never run out of games to play for the rest of my life. Gaming companies and journalists need to realize this because I, and most gamers, can outlast them. I will be just fine not buying their crap. Will they be just fine not selling it?

It wouldn't be a bad thing if those activist types just left the gaming industry entirely. Keza has entirely spun things on their head, it is the activists telling core gamers that what they have enjoyed and continue to enjoy is wrong. As a side note, the whole race issue is a red herring. No-one has any problem with the straight white male being a straight black male or whatever. Yes, those characters were generic, but that was entirely the point, the player is the one who brings the personality in those kinds of games. I like most kinds of games, so I like those thick narratives with cutscences that I see as a reward for beating a section of the game, but I also like games that emphasise gameplay and skill.
Most people don't mind games they don't like existing, the problem is when activists come for what they enjoy.
