This is a great film. Everyone should watch it, even if they aren’t Americans. We can all learn a lot from Jefferson Smith and the men he studied Lincoln, Washington etc. That doesn’t mean those men were perfect, but they did do a lot that was good, and we should learn from it.🤠
This is Jimmy Stewart's best film in my opinion
I like Rear window , Anatomy of a Murder , Rope , Shop Around The Corner , The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance a little bit more but this movie is great too.Jimmy Stewart has so many classics, it's insane...

I mean Mr. Smith Goes To Washington is a great film, but It's A Wonderful Life is on another level, as far as film and as far as the human soul connection with all the majesty around us. It's the quintessential Capra film to me and I feel all his great film before it were just a build up to what he could do and show as a storyteller with It's A Wonderful Life. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and prepare to fall in love.

@@gumperman I like "It's a Wonderful Life," but I prefer the movie that made Capra a superstar director, "It Happened One Night." After 86 years it is still the perfect romantic comedy.

A lot of real Senators had a problem with how accurately the movie portrayed them, couldn't handle the truth.
