Congratulations Texas Ranger Joe Haralson . For serving your county for so many years .
Blessings Long Life indeed as Texas Ranger! Congratulations! Keep on!
God bless Texas and the Texas Rangers. Thank you, Joe Haralson, for your service.🇺🇲
He is a man among men. Thank you for your service.
What a humble man, but God only knows what that man has had to do and risk in his 50+ yrs of service…most will never know how many times this great man stared evil in the eye and refused to blink or flinch! Well done sir
Love that he still carries a 1911. Prob been carrying one since he was in Vietnam.
If you get a chance to go to the museum in Waco please go
Gotta love Ranger Joe,!
(He also knows to take his hat off indoors)
🌿 ⭐ 🌿
His mama raised him right...
But when you are 'under arms', you are not supposed to remove your cover, even indoors.
He was doing so to be polite I suppose.
@@ogcowboy5743yes sir. Texas Ranger Joe is being polite. 😊
Thank you Mr Haralson and ALL other Texas Rangers for your dedicated service to Texas and to the nation.
Legends are created by the people who made it real. I grew up on tales of Texas Rangers, and Texas is back in the news today with the same kind of courage. Good Job, Joe Haralson, for your contribution to such an organization.
A dying breed. That’s a man of integrity right there. You can tell just the way he carries himself. Much respect.
We could use a few more of his ilk in our country right now. Thank you and God Bless you sir for your service.
Been my hero's since I was a kid.
Thank u for ur service Ranger
Congratulations to Joe Haralson Texas Ranger.
God bless this man
I worked with Joe when he was stationed in Galveston County and I was a city officer in South Harris County. As the late, great Border Patrolman Bill Jordan would say to describe someone you could trust implicitly, "He'll do to ride the river with." That's Joe.
Outstanding! Thank you for your service Ranger Haralson!
God Bless you sir and God Bless the Texas Rangers from the boys in the NYPD!
Thank you for your service!
God Bless you sir!!
I worked with, and was friends with Ranger Jim Peters for many years in the 70’s. They are a different breed. And now they carry a Kimber 1911, interesting.
I think they get to choose their sidearm and rig within reason. But certainly a custom 1911 suits him to a tee. Probably been carrying one since Vietnam.
Some of our TRUE HEROES! 🤠❤🔥
Cowards you mean
I'm from San Felipe/Sealy, the Texas Rangers were commissioned here, the men that wear the Cinco Peso are a breed apart....
Thank You for your service to our country and the great state of Texas Sir
Great Story and a great man!
If this guy isn’t straight out of central casting, I don’t know who is!
Talk about a perfect example of a seasoned Texas Ranger!
So cool!🇺🇸
Awesome, a man to be respected and appreciated, and probably the last older gentleman you'd want to screw with. Thank you, Joe Haralson, for all you have done and for what you continue to do..
Holy cow!!! I was just a plain old municipal Police Officer in Florida for 27 years and retired at the young age of 49.
This hero has served for 53 years plus his military time in Viet Nam. They literally do to make “MEN” like this anymore.
God Bless sir and I pray you have a lot of years left to serve.
What a man! We are so lucky to have him. Thank you, Mr. Haralson.
No he's not a man but a punk blue line thug
Thank you Kelli and Bob for sharing this article on Joe Haralson. It was very informative.
When I was a kid, I'll be 79 in March, we didn't have a TV so, we listened to the programs on the Radio. The Lone Ranger and other Western programs along with Tales Of The Texas Rangers were my favorites. I still listen to Tales Of The Texas Rangers with Joel McRae on CZcams.
Sorry for the long spiel.
Again, thanks for sharing this video.
PS: I got a new cell phone and lost my subscription, thankfully, I found you again.
Great story ... And one really good way to show how much we appreciate them and all they do. A good friend of mine Bucky Geer, his dad was a Texas Ranger and is enshrined in Waco at the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame. There's another Great Texas Ranger story for you.
Congratulations!
Wow how cool. I bet he has cool stories
Legendary!
The man is a legend all over Texas.
At one time in Martin County in Texas our sheriff Dan Saunders was once the longest serving in the State. He was a kind and good man and served us well RIP!!
What a great Hero👏🏼🇺🇸
Well done long and faithful servant !
Thank you and please stay.
Congratulations sir! My great uncle was a ranger back in the day.
Congratulations sir and thank you for all you have done for the great state of Texas.
That was pretty good! These type of guys are few and far between now-a-days.
Truely, only one of its kind.God bless him. an inspiration for law enforcement.
Joe Haralson❤ Texas Rangers❤
A living legend. So glad the interviewer got all dressed up in his favorite cotton t shirt.
Yeah looking like he’s in 4th grade🥴
Man is a living legend. Joins the ranks of Bass Reeves and others. God bless.
Glad I watched this. Glad I've met this honorable man.
ALL RISE !!
Congratulations Ranger Harlson , great story Bob Phillips
Good on you, Ranger Haralson. Much respect.
Proud Texans. God bless the Texas Rangers
A man like this helps renew my faith in the Texas Rangers after that treasonous David Maxwell has muddied the reputation of the Rangers.
WE NEED MORE MEN LIKE HIM!!!
That was so cool! God bless the man
You can't beat a Texas ranger. The best.there ever was
I will miss you two when you hand off the show.
The last of the guys that enjoy working, I just retired from federal government with 35 years of service and my coworker that I spent all those years with is still there at 75 yrs old
shake that man's hand for me, excellent.
He served as a Texas Ranger for over a quarter of the time these guys existed...let that sink in
I retired LE after 34 years and am enjoying every minute of it. There’s more to life than working in law enforcement. Most of the time, the very rare ones that stay on so long have a big ego and admire themselves or they just can’t let it go and need a “status” title. Or.. both.
That thumbnail👏🏾👏🏾
❤🔥👍🏽
Dang! This makes me miss the South.
👍👍👍👍👍
He carries a .45, not the 9mm pea shooter!
If you're a criminal, fear him. He can reach out and touch you, guaranteed. God bless you, Joe.
Texas Tradition >Texas Rangers tough as Texas Boots :)
THAT is cool…..
AND…he Carrie’s a 1911 to boot!
By the looks of those tiger stripe fatuges......he was no normal soldier. I hope yall know that, only rangers, green berets, CIA, and MACVSOG were authorized to wear those.
So very fine 🎉
What? Did we go from where is the best food in TX to Law Enforcement holding automatic weapons? When did that happen?
I grew up admiring and studying the history of the Rangers. I am 56. I learned recently the history of the rangers is darkened with the mass slaughter of Mexicans in the early 1900’s during Pancho Villa’s era. And when the Dallas cop, Amber Guyger, killed that dude eating ice cream in his own apartment a TX ranger got on the stand in her trial and said she had a good shoot and shouldn’t be charged in his opinion. The Tx Rangers are involved in the Uvalde school massacre coverup also. Maybe this old fossil is alright, but what can he really do? Sit around the courthouse and tell lies (stories) all day.
Sorry sir but the title “ranger” was used in the 1700’s to describe guerrilla fighters most notably Roger’s Rangers who were attached to the British army.
He would be embarrassed about DPS in uvalde.
Walker??
Good for you, dude.
So.
Any recent lies spread about me?
You gonna teach me a lesson?
Yeah. I see you.
1 riot, 1 Ranger.
Thank You, JESUS! There are "real men" with "real badges" who do their job with "real diligence." TMc
🙏🫡💙🙏
Longest serving and corrupt rangers are NOT what we need!!!!! We need educated officers who are not morally bankrupt.
Jasper TX. Most racist town in Texas. Look at the Byrd case
Your living in the past. There's been nothing there like that since then. Can't hold a community responsible for one monsters action. He got his due justice .....death. It's a nice town with plenty of good people of all colors. Not to mention a top notch high School football program that is always in contention for the State Championship. Go Bulldogs !
Congratulations & Appreciate The Rangers. However If We Are Going To Talk Truth The Texas Rangers Are Far From The Best We Have In America. So Many S.W.A.T. Teams Train Harder & Are Far Superior In The Law Enforcement Community. (QRT Teams From The Better & Bigger Police Departments Are Far Better Trained & Train Harder. Rangers Is More A Name Then A Powerful Force As Most Agencies Of Law Enforcement. All You Have To Do Is Simply Look At How Much More Training U.S Marshals Have EVERYDAY Going After The Worst Of The Worst. Lastly Texas Rangers Are Physically Out Matched As So Many Of Them Are Much Older & Simply Don’t Have To Kick In Doors Nearly As Much & Get Their Clothes Dirty. (C’mon Now!!)
I wonder how many lives he has destroyed and lies he has told. I have no respect for these cowards with tin badges. They are all bullies and pos. Was he one of the cowards at Uvalde.
Glorifying Texas Rangers, as law-enforcement is one of the most embarrassing and dishonest travesties of history, the Texans can endure. The Texas Rangers are a military unit that was commandeered after the Civil War, and made into the comical police unit of today. The Henry Lee, Lucas, epic showed just how dysfunctional the Texas Rangers were as a police force. The era following the Civil War, turned the Rangers into a comical organization. Continuing to fawn over the organization as a law-enforcement agency is a disgrace and an insult to the military history of the families of the Texas people.
I agree with the glorification part however I think there is value in being open about their sorted history. I hate this societal trend of wanting to bury everything that makes us uncomfortable. We can acknowledge and even pay a degree of homage to something without celebrating it. I personally find it un-American to glorify anything about the government. That said, there is an instrinsuc value in acknowledgement and study thereof. Mind you I say this as a Black man who has been born and raised here in TX, as well as numerous generations of my family. We personally know some of those horrors but the beauty of that struggle deserves acknowledgement not forgetfulness.
Don't forget they were racist.
lol 😂 It’s so easy to criticize ! The Texas Rangers were men who were not perfect, as we all are not perfect. They were the best we had ! Not perfect but they were the best ! Yes , a few made bad mistakes. 65 years ago, I would listen to my great uncle tell stories about his life as a Texas Ranger ! He caught a lot of criminals and crooked politicians. Bent the law a few times. The only people that didn’t like him were outlaws, but they respected him.
@@XxMIKExFAILZxXEverything is racist nowadays 😢
True. It's going to take many more decades to clear out the rot, such as the racists and the deniers. Dear God please hurry them on their way and free the rest of us up of this ball and chain, so we can move forward, behaving more like Jesus. I ask this in His name, Amen. @@tdhill84
