Unfortunately sheer speed alone doesn’t make up for a good lap. Consistency is the most important thing on the track no matter how fast the car is or how stable the car is. But that’s the beauty of track day where we figure out our own mistake from every session and try to improve them on the next session, and hopefully to become a better driver. 💪🏻
Splendid job bro.. 6 seconds improvement right compare to last time? So what's the improvisation this time around? Still using lower springs? I assume better tyres this time 😏
Nope, exactly the same setup and same tyre as before hahahha. Previous round brake too early, haven’t used to the braking capability of EBC yellow stuff. Now I’m confident with it and able to brake as late as 80-70m mark.
@@ljanhong yeah.. Based on kerb weight is about 1340. But the gross weight is 1700.. Damn fat man this car 😂. Need to try la your EBC.. Hope ada for preve. I'm using Bendix ultimate.. Only dare to brake at 100 only T1.
Seriously yellow stuff is no joke, no wonder it’s the favourite choice for many track kaki. Not a single hint of brake fade even after 10 continuous flying laps. Previously tried green stuff and NS400, both can’t survive. They fade very quickly and the braking power is not even near the yellow stuff. Among the 2, NS400 is the worst.
hai bro ijan... if I may ask, did you do string or machine alignment? How's your camber and toe reading? Sorry if I get into details, but just want see if any input can be implemented towards my car.
Hi may I know where can I get the ebc yellowstuff brake pads for inspira? Debating if I should do the ra twin pot conversion or upgrade the stock inspira brake pad will do the tricks
You can look for ebc distributor in Malaysia and order from them. For normal daily use, stock brake pad + stock caliper is more than enough. Even for some spirited driving, a sportier 400-500c pad will do the tricks. Yellow stuff is for extreme driving and Trackday and even some races where you can trash the brake continuously without having the brake faded away. I would suggest you to get a set of good brake pad with stock caliper. But of course if you have the budget, ra twin pot + yellow stuff is definitely better. If you are pairing ra twin pot with some basic pad then forget about it.
@@ljanhong I see, placed order for greenstuff since I'm planning to upgrade to 4pot in the near future so the greenstuff should enough for the time being, thanks for the advice
Good drive bro. Just a friendly nudge that it was yellow light at section 3-4. I was there as well. Hope to meet you again cheers.
Wonderful run, congrats on the new PB! Wish I can reach the speed on the straights as you do. 🥲

@@ljanhong splendid bro.. Now I wish my preve is manual and lighter like inspira 😂
They both weight about the same though, 1.3 tons.

I did machine alignment, current camber is at negative 2.5, toe should be 0 if not mistaken.
