UPPER BACK & ARMS workout with BALLERINA Maria Khoreva

- This workout is one of my recent favorites! In this video we're doing a WEIGHTLESS (!) arms and upper back exercises and It's going to help improving your posture overtime and make your arms more toned and strong in just under 15 minutes. I've put my favorite ballet inspired moves in this workout and you're going to need only a fitness mat to complete it! So hopefully you enjoy working out with me today and your arms and back feel a good old burn afterwards! Don't forget to work against yourself, remember about resistance in each exercise and keep checking on your form. I know you'll be doing beautiful!!
And now for the exercises this routine consists of:
1. Swan arms
2. Back behinds
3. Back bows + port de bras
4. Arm circles
5. Straight arm back pulses
6. Criss-cross chest raises
7. Overhead diamond
We're going to do each move for 1min 15sec and do a 10sec break in between them.

this looks so simple but hurt af😂 never thought it would burn my arms so much in the first 2min. im doing strength training more than 3yrs but this video was like hell. ( in a good way)😂😂😂

I mistakenly thought that the weightless arm exercises would be easy!! Xaxa. The side - back exercise was also pretty tough!!
This burned but it was also absolute heaven for my weak, tight and irritated bicep tendons. It gave them the release they needed, and some strength, and this also helped increase my shoulder control and mobility/active flexibility. To top it off these exercises also helped me gain more active flexibility and control in my upper back area. It's really helped my posture, daily comfort and my contortion training. I love your work and your routines. X
I just finished doing this workout and love it sooo much! To be honest, the back exercises are very difficult for me but it simply shows that I have to work much harder on my back muscles. Oh and yeah, my arms are also dead right now 😅 It was amazing and I will do this regularly. Thank you, Maria 🙏❤

OMG! Marie looks like a 92 pound angel but ohhhhh my Godddddd she is as tough as nails!!! Her classes look soooo easy but they are crazy hard. She is AMAZING!!!! Thank you, Maria!!!
My arms are burning, in a good way. But no.1, three and six are nearly a "no take off" for me, I just can't lift my torso from the floor more than 2-3 cm, let alone keep it up there. My back muscles must be very weak, also, I am a very tall 69-year old slim woman, not much muscle on my frame!. Thank you for this workout, I also like it very much that we don't need weight, elastics or anything but our bodies for this workout.

I love these workouts even though they can be tough. The arm circles kill me the most so sometimes I start in the middle of the video to do those first before my arms are tired. With the other exercises I can push through the pain, but with arm circles when I'm tired, my arms just die - it isn't painful I just can't lift them anymore!
I agree with you that back muscles are so, so important. I used to do weight machines in the gym for my back, but since I stopped going, I wasn't sure how to work them at home. I would like to request a video for ankle strength and stability if you can. Mine are so flexible that I tend to trip a lot and who better than a ballerina to help us balance better? Thank you.
