how do you like the acerbis tank? i dont like the look and added weight of the aftermarket tanks but def need something bigger. 2gal is not enough

I actually really really like it. I the added weight is less of a concern compared to the extended saddle time from having the extra fuel. Even with the extra weight I can still ride the bike really hard and even jump it pretty well as you saw.

I just picked up a 2023 fe501s love the bike so far. I see you have the black tank, what size did you go with and how do you see your fuel level?

I got the Acerbis tank a while back but I think its a 3 gallon and I top it off regularly so I just peak in the gas cap to see where it is at.

@@madjack_757 Yes its my dream bike! So far I just got some double take mirrors. The bike is so new that I need to get a feel for her before I start upgrading anything. I think seat will be next though but I'm going to wait and see.

@@zeelastman Apologies for the late response. How has the 501 been treating you?? I think it was wise to spend a bit of time getting to know your vehicle before upgrading it and the 501 is definitely a unique bike.

@@madjack_757 I love it so far but I had to order a seat. I ordered the seat 2 weeks ago and I can't wait! The stock seat is prob okay for offroad use but on road I find it wears on me after 30 mins or so.
