@@andreleverettejr3747 I have also heard about independence brothers, they seem almost too good to be true. Have seen both good and bad reviews on them. They are a fairly new company without much of a reputation. As someone who's 5'5 138ibs , I also struggle with sleeve length and made to measure sounds like a very attractive option.

Great review and i love your calm, not over the top presentation unlike the other guys who are super annoying lol. Well done. Based on this great video I bought this exact jacket, I got it at a great price too, around £60 reduced from £240! I'm 5ft 10 180lbs so went for the meduim.

I would say that it fits a little smaller than true to size.
I’ve had these jackets and I think there perfect as a style jacket the silhouette is perfect not to clunky or big and for the price £120 uk I think there an absolute steal I’ve had some ASOS real leathers and the fits are always way to oversized you always want to size down in leathers as they definitely stretch over time but I do recognise they seem too tight when first on but they mould to your body shape over time. I give em a 9/10 definitely recommend.

Hey Koi, great review as always! I noticed you mentioned the AllSaints Milo biker jacket being a bit too bulky. Have you tried the [Name of a different AllSaints jacket]? I got one recently and found it to be a great fit, especially in the arms.
I totally agree with your point about the sizing on the Barney's Originals jackets. I'm a similar build to you and found them to be way too tight as well. It's a shame because the leather seemed decent quality for the price.
Interesting point about the zippers on the Barney's jackets. I never thought about the difference between YKK and YCC zippers before. I'll definitely be looking out for that in the future.

Since it goes through a vintage coating process, the jacket fits a lot slimmer so you should try out their size small. The leather is very soft so it's more of a fashion piece than for riding which I think that's what you're looking for. good luck my brother!👌

I recently bought a Barney’s Originals Oversized Leather Jacket from ASOS and it’s pretty damn good but unfortunately, a few weeks in and the zipper puller on the left side fell off. Any suggestions on where to get a replacement puller for it? ( keep in mind the puller is nowhere to be found, it seems like it was a snap-on puller and it’s not ykk or ycc ) any help with this would be appreciated, thank you!

Mmmm I have the same jacket in medium and it's a perfect fit for me. I'm 5'10 and a little over 10stone. Also the zippers are all YKK if I could change anything i would lose the quilting style just have it plain. I'm definitely happy with it. Especially when you've paid £50 for it.
except one of these 2 jackets have YCC zippers. these jackets are definitely on the affordable side. glad that you've nailed the fit and are happy with it

at 5'3 it might be too long ... i'd recommend going custom perhaps?
Are you able to find a specific link to the first jacket I couldn’t find it on their website.
It might have sold out. They run through jackets pretty quickly. But I notice they replenish often as well, so if you keep checking you might see it again or something similar.
Straight to hell has pretty good jackets and they have short versions with 23 inch sleeves and body so they work for shorter guys.
Another brand i like is Laer, they can shorten the sleeves for free when you order.

I have bought Barneys oversized leather jacket, just like the second one in the video. Quality of leather is good although a little light and thin. I ordered size L and had to return it because I couldn’t move my arms. Jacket is being advertised as oversized but in real life it’s the total opposite. So I’ve returned it and got myself a bit expensive one, Bolongaro Trevor double layer leather jacket. This jacket is in every way better then Barnyes and it is a one or more levels up compared to Barnyes oversized leather jacket. So if you can afford to spent cca 60£ more get yourself Bolongoro Trevor model instead of Barneys. Better and harder leather, better quality and most important better look in general.
yeah, you know ASOS is super slim everything..unless oversized is explicitly stated and even then tends to run slim. i've heard good things about the bolongoro jacket. thanks for the insight!

@@gentwithin Yes! I own 2 Coach jackets. One black biker version, and the other is a brown racer. They're superior in fit and quality, man. Way better than my AllSaints leather jackets. I'm also ordering the Saint Laurent biker jacket this week because I want to compare it to my Coach jacket. If it's not as nice, it's going back in a heartbeat, lol. If I do a review, I'll post it on here!

it's comparable to the allsaints, but not quite up to snuff

Brando and McQueen makes really good jackets. They're a newer brand that I came across through Instagram. I've already bought two of their jackets. They have an option to customize them to your body measurements and someone to walk you through it. I did this myself as I have broad shoulders but short arms and I was extremely satisfied with the fit.

RevIT moto jackets. I believe they're european, so the cut is more fitting.
Price range is around $400 and has nice leather. It comes with armor in the shoulders, elbow, and back since it is an actual motorcycle jacket. But the armor is removable. I'm 5'6", 135 lbs and wear a size 46.

I bought the same XS size and it seems long its in my mid bottom.
that's weird. how's the rest of the fit. is it tight? Barneys does offer many different styles so maybe that's a reason for the longer drape

Usually wear a Small in jackets. Bought this jacket from ASOS in small and couldn't even zip it up it was so tight. Returned and got a medium, it fit fine throughout the body but the arms were still too tight and constricting. Returned it too. Such a shame, they look great but the fit is atrocious.

Yeah, it really is a shame. You've got me by almost 30 lbs. But for those with a certain body type will get along well with these jackets.
Hi bro.. I bought the same padded jacket from Barney’s. My height is 180cm and my weight is around 70kg of lean muscle. I took size S because watching the models on asos.com they were 189-190cm tall and weight around 75kg. You said that it fits snug and that it would look better if someones 10 pounds havier (thats around 5kg I suppose?) I didnt got it yet but watching your review I think maybe it will bi small for me? how's the size small fit for you? I would imagine it might be a little bit tight, no? medium might run long for you though. the curse of being between sizes...also, i misspoke, i should've said 10 lbs lighter. the xs is extraordinarily tight for me

Got mine today from the same seller. Very disappointed. It doesn't fit well, looks cheap and sloppy. Do not recommend. For that amount of money you'll be able to find something better.
