This modular/prefab home is customizable and is built to state code! The house we are touring today is a “modular.” The manufacturer for this house is PennWest Homes. The model for this home is the “#1 at BAYSHORE” This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 1,600(heated & cooled) square foot. Let me know what you think about the video! We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

I wish that more manufacturers would keep the furnace and water heater in the utility room like this model has!
It's a mud room, the microwave isn't built-in, it's sitting on the counter. Poor outlet count, internal and external.
I like how this home is smaller but still doesn’t seem to be missing a thing! Really nicely done!!
It's missing a closet in one bedroom
Love the size of this one. Love the size of the "nook", and especially the master bath. Beautiful shower. Like that it has an outside door on the end to accimodate a built on garage.
I really like this one. Good size. Nice window above the kitchen sink. Good to see the furnace and water tank in the utility room which is a nice size as well. Like the pocket doors.
Strange how a water heater in the Utility merits a positive comment, but see my exact same comment! 😃 WHY do they so often go astray and end up in bedroom closets?!?! 🧐
I'm just starting to watch, but this is a pet peeve of mine as well! As soon as I see a water heater panel in a (usually) master closet, I check that house off the list.
There are a lot of positives when it comes to houses being built indoors out of the weather. An important one is they can work on it every day until it's done they don't have to stop working when the weather gets bad.
Really beautiful. Perfect for a couple. Make an office out of the third bedroom. My hubs n I have had our own bedrooms for years. We have a great marriage but the sleeping thing doesn’t work for us. It’s nice to have your own little sanctuary. My hubs snores and goes to bed way earlier than I do. I like to read n watch CZcams before I go to sleep. So it’s just easier to have our own bedrooms. A lot of couples are doing that these days. It doesn’t mean you don’t have a great relationship. 💝
We want to sell the house we have n get something like this. In fact I like this one better for us than any I’ve seen.
Pocket doors make do much more sense in smaller houses. This one is very nice. Loved the color of the kitchen cabinets too.
This one isn't too big or too small. It's just right Chance. I'm loving it. I've just finished watching the living room, kitchen and dining room areas. If the rest of it is as good as the first part "OH YEAH." It is an amazing home. I wasn't disappointed with this one Chance. Totally beautiful through and through.
It's currently 23°F/-5°C here in the UK. What a lovely home. So spacious. Although it's smaller, there are no compromises. It's perfect.

I would like to see more on this size compact. This was almost spot on its only two older people that need jet tubs with shower that has seating.

Very nice. Love how the tops of the kitchen cabinets abut against the dropped ceiling-always a good look. I didn't see a plug in the utility room for an extra freezer-seems like there's room for one.
Now THIS is nice!!! With just a few adjustments it can be perfect!! It needs a fireplace, of course, and the front door should be changed for one more secure. And I sort of like the sliders for a change!! LOL!! Hand showers in both baths and a Geezer toilet in the master bath and I think it would be very livable!! I do wish that front gable extended over the door though, that would make putting the front porch on much easier.

Ok, THIS IS my new FAVORITE, wow it's beautiful, simple yet elegant, love the color of the kitchen cabinets, I love all the storage, I just love this house! We are almost ready to make the jump, we have our dream property in Maine, just waiting a couple more years to retire and sell our CT house and buy one of the beauties..thank you for showing us. I'm very sad NOBODY in the Northeast does what you do, we have loads of straws that allow modular & mobile homes. Even Maine, not 1 person on CZcams is going to the 5 different modular/mobile homes dealers and video what they have for us. ? Maybe there's a "niche" for someone , huh??

I love the cabinet colors and the gas stove.
We call that utility room a “MudRoom” here in PA. When you get in from gardening, Snow removal, walking the dog… you wash the mud off. Mud meaning Dirt, Grass, Ice, dog stuff, Snow… and of course Mud. Before you drag your dirt through the house… and annoy Kaitlin.

Like those glass shelves in that shower! So many have no place to put your soaps. They need to also add a towel rack inside for wash cloths .

Lovely home, nice size rooms. Just what I'm looking for in my next home. Wow! I thought it would be closer to 250,000! Only changes would be vinyl flooring from the kitchen throughout the house, and no black hardware!

i would love to see smaller modulars such as 800 to 1000 sq ft for those of us who wish to down size.
Me too. My hubs and I have a brick home with 2350 sq. Ft. Too big for us, inside and out with a 2 acre lawn. He lost his right arm 6 months ago so now we really need less lawn maintenance and myback is terrible so I’m not able to mop as often. I wish more modular homes were made with 2 master suites on each end. That way, if you need a family member to stay with you at times, they would have their own bed and bath.

The Kitchen is nice and large with a window over the sink, a built-in microwave, a generous island, and a good supply of cabinets, drawers, and counter space.
Purposeful Utility including the furnace, breaker box, and water heater, and a sink.
