When I just bought them several years ago BOTH terminals in the rear stands were not working. I got them repaired under warranty. I think the cable work is overcomplicated. I'd prefer simple screw terminals. Looks good though.
I agree the cabling and terminals are over complicated, only to achieve a clean look. Before your edit you mentioned needing to replace one of the terminals again, you can buy replacement parts here: bowerswilkins.encompass.com/search?searchTerm=m-1
These look great, do you have recommendations for good computer speakers with a subwoofer that will really thump? It's time to retire my Bose speakers 15 years old (I don't remember the model number)
I use the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 speakers. They get can get very loud and punchy. Great for music. The only downside is that the amp in the subwoofer gets hot, even when the speakers are idle and not playing anything. There is no power switch so they are on 24/7. I solved that problem by using a smart plug so I can turn them on and off whenever I need to. Here is a link to where you can buy them: amzn.to/3Hx22mt
@@ScottSchrammThanks for the video. I bought M1 with stand from fb. They didnt gave me wallmount/table base. I probably need to mount one in wall. Is there any link or suggestion on wiring inside the ndaall connector? Trying to get more info before opening up
Yeah I've been tracking these stands for a while and found they occasionally go on sale for about half price which is when I bought them. Unfortunately, most universal stands will not work due to the way the wire terminates to the speaker. You can see it at 12:51 in my video. Your best bet would be to get a stand like this: amzn.to/3tkKLJa and then use the table top stand that comes with the M1 speaker and just place that on top of the universal floor stand. It won't be as clean of a look, but it would work and would be much cheaper.
Great Helpful video. Thank you so much
You just saved my life, thanks !

@@ScottSchramm Thanks! Then I should add this time the contact was lost for a different reason. Stupid of me not to check that first 🤭.
