Great tip. I was doing that bull riding arm thing you mentioned haha. I like the way you explained to hold it with two hands and then take one away, sets your swinging arm position up better.
Nice tips it help me a lot. I'm new to the kettle bell game. I've done free weights most of my life and I'm finding out that kettle bells is a totally different set of rules.
So glad I watched this. I was just about to do some one armed swings and thought I might just check out this video first. So glad I did, because I was looking like a bull rider straight up... hilarious. This simple tip has potentially saved me so much pain and injury. Thanks Karen, great job!!!!
Is it ok if I turn the bell slightly inwards as its going between my legs? I can't figure out how to keep my legs not too wide apart and not hit my thighs with the handle of the bell every time i swing it when I keep it parallel, which throws me off balance with the heavier weights (and it kinda hurts too). Thank you for the video :)
Am I supposed to be pushing against my forearm with my hips to elevate the kettle bell or am I relying on the pulling motion of my arm to elevate the ball?
Tim sent me💪
Thanks for coming over
Nicely demonstrated!👍
That is good clean form.. I need to practice
Great vid! Some folks might be interested in how you transfer the KB from one hand to the other as well.

So happy you found it helpful :)
Glad to see you do chest level swings. Zero respect for belly button swings. They are absolutely a different mechanical movement.

Any suggestions as to cues for when to hinge? I feel like I hinge too soon?
Yes stay in your tall standing plank until your arms get to body then punch hips back “kinda like playing chicken with your hips and bell”
Tim sent me too. Keep rockin', Karen!
Awesome, thanks for coming over :)

The bell should move from the hip drive not pulling of your arm or shoulder :)
