I will FOREVER want to haunt JFP and Bob Guza for killing Alan off. Alan was of course such a legacy character to begin with....but in reliving how he had bonded with Robin during the HIV story....it makes me so angry.....AGAIN. Stuart Damon and Kimberly were so good in their scenes. I just think it was a horrible decision that still haunts the show.
Alan was the best doctor not a good father.But he loved Robin as if she was his daughter after getting infected with hiv. Telling AJ the truth was the right thing, I just wish Robin had done it sooner. There were scenes of her after Michael was born telling Jason that both mothers and fathers had rights to their children and but the she went along with it anyway because she loved Jason which was wrong on her part. Robin gets crucified for this, but Carly shouldn’t have lied, regretting a one night stand isn’t a good reason to cut someone out of their child’s life. She destroyed AJ’s life just because the truth was inconvenient for her.
Oh, I got pissed at both Robin and Carly over the Michael thing...Robin could've told as soon as she knew and I believe Jason would've accepted it...and still helped Carly if he could. And Carly, when she ran off to the Q's in a panic and all the ish she brought down on Jason and Michael with that fiasco...ugh. I wanted to punch both of 'em .
She didn't destroy his life Yes she shouldn't have drugged him or lied to him but she didn't destroy his life , yes she could've gave him a chance to be part of Michael life but she didn't destroy his life. Carly wasn't there when he started drinking nor did she make him keep drinking , she didn't make him hurt Allen or Jason while he was drinking. Aj knew Carly only married him to keep Michael , he used it to keep her away from Jason.

I was glad when Robin left; really grew to dislike the character as she became more & more pious. What she did to Jason was the final strwa. She kept saying , in that sweet, syrupy voice, "It was the right thing to do", but only listed how may ways Carly was bad for him. Cleary it was really about how she hated Carl.y.
I will always be a Robin lover and am glad she ended up with a happy ending with Patrick and being able to have children and as for the Robin haters she and Carly did make up in the end and Robin apologized about the Michael thing and Carly forgave her so why people still hate Robin I have no clue because even Jason and Sonny forgave her in the end.

Robin didnt understand Jason was Michaels father, that love and bond can never be broken, especially by Jason.

But even if aj didn't press charges which he should have Carly drugs him ( felony ) dumps him in a laundry cart & pours vodka over him & calls a worried & devastated Monica to pick her son up from an alley. When Carly first told jason what she'd done he even told her " drugging a person putting them in a laundry cart & dumping them in an alley is felony assault " ajs only crime was getting drunk w/ Carly having consensual sex w/ another adult & getting her pregnant. Neither protected themselves & neither was thinking clearly as they were both hammered. If not for the drinking & both being depressed they wouldn't have had sex. Yea same as probably 90 % of unplanned pregnancies by 2 unmarried & non dating people who weren't thinking made a mistake that resulted in conception. So having said all that I'd be on Robin's side if she had told aj from the start. Nope she kept quiet cause she loved jason. She saw he trusted her w/ this secret nobody else in the world knew but him & Carly & Robin didn't want jason to not feel he could trust her. Where things went horribly wrong were after Carly shot Tony & wound up in a mental ward Robin had zero problem getting back w/ Jason moving him & Micheal into the cottage Brenda left her & played house w/ ajs son! So that made Robin a liar & hypocrite. Aj didn't give this child up. Robin knew from jason aj wanted full custody of the baby esp given Carly did the unforgivable to him for no reason other than being crazy & wanting to hold onto an already dead relatiobsjip w/ Tony. A relationship Tony obviously came to realize was a " mid life crisis that went to far " Carly after leaving Tony & telling him it wasn't his baby cried to jason merely days later w/ actual self awareness that " im a horrible person. I was ready to let Tony claim this baby & did so many stupid things to keep him & now that he's gone I don't even miss him. He was as disposable as wrapping paper " yep that's pretty sick. Given how she ran around town getting in everyone s face that she loved Tony more than life. The 2nd he tells her he's done & she winds up at Jason's ( the guy she originally would have wanted in a heartbeat after they were lovers but carlys games didn't work on jason who was true blue to Robin & at that time b/c of the brain Damage thankfully wasn't able to be manipulated or afraid of Carly exposing their affair b/c he really did have the built in excuse for Robin he didn't know it was wrong. Even though I beg to differ. I think at first jason didn't know. But as his romance w/ Robin progressed w/o sex cause of her hiv status & his primal needs as a healthy young blooded male he saw a woman that turned him on in Carly & did what came natural. Proof he started to know it was wrong was when he & Carly had just done it Robin showed up. He purposely waited for Carly to hide in the bathroom & obviously knew not to tell Robin a naked woman was in his bathroom. So Jason's mind was starting to learn enough to lie by omission to Robin that he didn't just finish sex w/ Carly. So having said all that Robin telling aj the truth a year later was horrible. Robin not telling aj & then telling aj was based on robins agenda. Jason had finally made his choice. He told Robin even though he loved her he decided wherever Carly/Micheal were gonna live was where he wanted to be. So he chose Carly & Micheal over her. He was silly to think Robin Carly he & Micheal could all live like that. They tried it at the cottage for like 2 days b4 Robin booked it to Italy. I don't blame her the whole situation was crazy. Esp given robin knew Carly wanted jason. So her confession to aj was out of spite. I think given she went to jason right after to justify what she did & thought she was still in " Jason's teacher mode " that jason would say she was right & now that aj knew jasoj would bow out & be w?/ her. I mean even when she was telling aj she was making it all about what a witch Carly was. Look at her motives. Within moments of her & Jason's breaking up that's when she went to Carly knowing Carly was gonna gloat & let Robin have it. That's why I have no sympathy for Robin cause she too was playing " God " w/ micheals paternity. In 99 it wasn't known or medically safe for Robin to have a child that w/o a high risk of passing hiv on. So she saw Carly in a mental hospital Aj in the dark & loved playing house w/ Jason & a child that didn't belong to either of them. So once jason chose Carly & Micheal the break up was done really by jason. So Robin telling Aj a year later wasn't about thr right thing it was to spite jason & Carly. So all her reasoning to jason about " I took Micheal away from u now so Carly couldn't do it later " was a ridiculous argument & jason saw right through it. So in conclusion lol if Robin told aj right away I'd totally get it. Her timing & waiting a year made her totally in the wrong on all the levels I said. It's funny when Carly & her good buddy Jax were keeping Spencer's paternity secret Robin found out & immediately told Nikolas. B/c she wasn't emotionally attached to either man other than friendship. The hypocrisy of Robin got worse cause when Patrick knocked her up for a good couple months she lied he wasn't the dad but the baby was from a donor.

He was silly to think Robin Carly he & Micheal could all live like that. They tried it at the cottage for like 2 days b4 Robin booked it to Italy. I don't blame her the whole situation was crazy. Esp given robin knew Carly wanted jason. So her confession to aj was out of spite. I think given she went to jason right after to justify what she did & thought she was still in " Jason's teacher mode " that jason would say she was right & now that aj knew jasoj would bow out & be w?/ her. I mean even when she was telling aj she was making it all about what a witch Carly was. Look at her motives. Within moments of her & Jason's breaking up that's when she went to Carly knowing Carly was gonna gloat & let Robin have it. Robin went to Carly which was obviously not necessary but she did it to get herself mad enough to have the courage to drop a bombshell on aj. That's why I have no sympathy for Robin cause she too was playing " God " w/ micheals paternity. In 99 it wasn't known or medically safe for Robin to have a child that w/o a high risk of passing hiv on. So she saw Carly in a mental hospital Aj in the dark & loved playing house w/ Jason & a child that didn't belong to either of them. So once jason chose Carly & Micheal the break up was done really by jason. So Robin telling Aj a year later wasn't about thr right thing it was to spite jason & Carly. So all her reasoning to jason about " I took Micheal away from u now so Carly couldn't do it later " was a ridiculous argument & jason saw right through it. So in conclusion lol if Robin told aj right away I'd totally get it. Her timing & waiting a year made her totally in the wrong on all the levels I said. It's funny when Carly & her good buddy Jax were keeping Spencer's paternity secret Robin found out & immediately told Nikolas. B/c she wasn't emotionally attached to either man other than friendship. The hypocrisy of Robin got worse cause when Patrick knocked her up for a good couple months she lied he wasn't the dad but the baby was from a donor.
