Welcome to our channel! In this video, we explore the majestic Narmada River as it gracefully flows in the westward direction across central India. The Narmada, considered one of the seven holy rivers in India, originates from the Amarkantak Plateau in Madhya Pradesh and meanders through the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat before emptying into the Arabian Sea.
According to scientists, the only reason for Narmada river flowing in reverse is Rift Valley.
Which means that the slope of the river is in the opposite direction.
The river flows in the same direction as the slope of the river. For this reason the Narmada river flows in reverse here.
but Narmada and Tapti Rift Valleys (Fault Zones) These have been formed due to the bending of the northern part of the Indian Plate during the formation of the Himalayas.
