The brush cleaner sponge isn't for deep cleaning. It's for switching colors while using the same brush. Like if you're using a blue shadow on an eye brush but want to continue using a different color with the same brush, you swirl the brush on to the sponge and it gets rid of the color so you can continue to use it! Definitely not too harsh on brush bristles. (:

This collection is totally you for sure! The packaging, the beautiful mirror behind you, the bow on your hair, the pink top for the first look and the first eyeshadow look gave it such a romantic fairy tale vibe 💕
I do really like the second look as well. It's such a nice smokey look with orange-brown shades and a pop of colour. I always mess up my smokey looks by overblending or adding too much black so I'll try out the look you created.

I think a brush cleaner is for when you do your makeup, you can remove the shadow/color from the brush so you can use it for another color!

The brush cleaner is for quick dry cleaning in between washed. After you used your for example blending brush, you just quickly swirl the brush on the sponge and it removes the color residue just enough so you can use it for another color. It actually works quite well especially if you have some favorite brushes you don't have the time to wash every time but want to use for one colorful look. Of course it doesn't clean it completely and you still have to wash the brushes from time to time :)

The brush cleaner you can use on a dry brush to remove the shadow so you can reuse it. It is basically like wiping your brush on a towel. I think its harsher than a towel though so some people don't like it.
it does seem a bit rough but i guess from time to time isn't so bad!

I use a brush cleaner like that from bh cosmetics every day! It’s great for those with a smaller brush collection because you can wipe off whatever color you’re using and then use that same brush again on another shade. So handy!

Your reaction to the brush cleaner is so cute! Haha. I would like to see how you clean your brushes, I'm always curious how others go about cleaning. I spot clean after using my brushes, and then do a proper clean weekly.

The 4th look is stunning! When I see orange, I usually run. You made it work! What beautiful packaging, wow. OH, & I have a similar brush cleaner tin; it's handy just for a quick clean between shades. I still wash my brushes, but it's good for a quick wipe.

I’m the same when it comes to stuff with cats on it. I have two cats so I’m biased 😂 I got the bundle with the palettes and brushes so I could get the green makeup bag. I may gift one of the palettes to someone else if I feel like I already have the tones in my collection.
Have you tried tapping the bright greeny colour instead of blending? I find when using bright colours if you blend like normal shadows you lose the colour but tapping the edges with the brush allows you to keep the pigment while blending still 😊

The shadow brush cleaner is for use in between two Shadows and you want to clean up a bit. it's not for deep cleaning

Random question how do you apply your lashes? Do you add lash glue to your lid or lashes?
Usually you apply the glue to the lash strip, wait for it to get sticky a bit and then put them on. Tina Young has a good video teaching you how to put them on and that really helped me.
