You can literally sell me anything!! I wasn't even interested in this palette but now after watching this video, I want to buy the palette😂 You have no idea how many products I bought on your recommendations. Just wanted to know if you will be doing a video on the Barbie collection, very interested to watch your 3 looks using that palette.
Absolutely gorgeous, I don’t buy from colourpop anymore I can’t keep up lol 😂 but this one was meh but I liked the peach & lavender next to each other , I’ll recreate it with my singles for sure ✨
When I first saw the palette I thought it was such a Judy palette - the color story is so soft and pretty, I know you love 12 pans, and the name So Very Lovely just describes Judy 😌💕🌸🌿
For my super shock blushes/shadows/highlighters drying out, I add a drop of my face oil (I use squalane but any face oil will work!) and just squish it around with my finger lol and it gets way better
Appreciate your detailed review as always, Judy! Btw, I was actually interested in that Macrame liner. However, I trust your review so now I'm kinda on the fence about it. So please please update us, Judy, once you play more with it! Thank you~
i love the crafting/sewing theme behind this hahaha even if all the fabric names are hard to pronounce 😩 (btw "crochet" is "crow-shay" and "georgette" is "george-ett")
This was SO helpful - thank you! I was really intrigued with this color story and I do have a smaller collection, so might pick this up after all. The three looks you did really highlighted the versatility that is possible.
Oh I am SO HAPPY that Judy finally has an affiliation with Colorpop! In the OG days I would be kicking myself every time I brought a colorpop product due to her recommendation without giving her the necessary credit.
Love these 3 looks that you created especially the 3rd look. Same as you, I would have never thought of the lavender and peach colour combo. Appreciate your hard work on the comparisons 💜🧡
just got the palette a few days ago and i've been absolutely loving it!!! it's probably one of my favourite palettes in my collection right now :D i feel like this collection hasn't been getting as much hype as their other collections because it seems to be pretty dupable for people with big collections. i honestly fell in love with it at first glance when it was announced and since i don't really have many palettes this was such a perfect one for me to have!
I LOVEE doing my makeup while watching your videos. You're so relaxing and it inspires me to be more creative with my looks especially when you do the three makeup looks with one palette. Love you Judy 🥰
Haha I love your pronunciations! Lattice - LAH-tiss Macrame - MAH-crah-may Georgette - Jor-JET (like the name George but with "ette" on the end) Crochet - crow-SHAY
@@Turbogirl90 because Voile and Voila are different words with different meanings! Literally translated, Voila means "here is" which is why when we (as an English-speaker) present something we would use that for dramatic emphasis. "Voile" instead means "veil" in English :)
Watching your videos is great for my soul but terrible for my wallet because i wasn't interested in this palette at all but now seeing you use it and talk about it makes me want it! HUHU But once again another top tier review. Thank you, Judy!
yay i was just about to do my eyeshadow when you posted i did look 3 today with garden variety and in a trance and through my eyes, had to dip into a lot of different palettes 😂, thanks for the inspiration
Just placed an order for the palette when I saw ColourPop was doing free shipping, so I’ll probably be back to watch this vid three more times so I can try out your looks 🤩
Thank you for a thorough review and great comparisons! All three looks are gorgeous 😍 After watching it convinced me I already have all the same shades from in my collection. However I love Honeydude liner, and since you said Lattice is its shimmery version, I need to get that! And those blushes! So pretty and so unique! 💖
Voile is a French word which is pronounced "vwull" basically, I think some Americans pronounce it "voyull". It's a type of fabric and means veil in French. Georgette is another type of fabric and is pronounced "jor-jet". Just in case you were wondering about the names ❤ thanks for providing such a detailed review and comparisons as always!
This is one of the more unique color stories that they have released recently. I am going to get it from Mercari. I have gotten so many Colourpop palettes from there for very good deals. The shimmers are very pretty! Fortunately I didn't start collecting Colourpop palettes until last year so I only have 10 or 11 of their palettes so I haven't bought any that dupe each other yet lol. Also just FYI macrame is actually pronounced mac-rum-may. :)
I LOVE the Limoncello palette! Was playing with it this weekend. I have a smaller collection, so do not already have these colors. Feels like summer to me. The duochrome, Easy Peasy, is beautiful.
The final look is my favorite! Gorgeous colors and execution but also because of how far to the outer corners you took the eye look. I’ve been thinking about your eye looks that they are gorgeous but they would look especially stunning if you brought the eye look farther out, especially the darker crease color. I have smaller eyes so that is what I do for myself. You can make your eyes look extra glam if you bring the whole eye look way out (closer to where your eyebrows end) and add a big wing. I love your videos, especially the colourpop ones. I am now a die-hard colourpop fan at least in part due to your review videos. Thank you!!
Loved all 3 looks! I want that palette now!! and yes, you should do a review for all your liners! I love to use them to add a pop of colour of just when I have to go out and don't want clean eyes!
I feel like people weren't vibing with this release, but the palette is really cute, I think the bright coral pairs well with the purples and rosey neutrals. Very cute
I made a look very similar to the lavender and peach with Kittenfish from It’s My Pleasure and Made U Blush from Blush Crush! It’s a little bit more cool toned, but it’s an alternative for people who already have those!
I loved this video Judy! Thank you! Also the name Georgette sounded so familiar to me so I decided to double check it, it is pronounced/jorjet/ like the name George and, according to Wikipedia is a sheer, lightweight, dull-finished crêpe fabric named after the early 20th century French dressmaker Georgette de la Plante. In my language we call it as the French do, /Djordjet/ (like the sion in illusion) and that is why it sounded so familiar. Colourpop is always very creative with their names and the naming of this one, considering the blush has a sheeny satin finish, was absolutely genius!
truth be told, i wasn’t really impressed by this collection when I looked at photos (tbh I thought the color story was random) but you rock these colors 🥰 like on the eyes they’re so pretty
can you please post pics of these looks on your ig but make them more zoomed in? it's hard to see the colors and detail of your eye looks on my phone screen when the pic is too zoomed out. ♥️ i love all the looks but it was so cool to see you use metallic shades wet! look 2 was amazing!!! you always look so stunning in reddish shades.
ill post them on my ig stories next time!! i didnt take photos of these looks which i did post one! you can always screen shot the final looks and zoom in :)
Love the video, even if I don't intend to buy anything from that collection.! In French, Georgette is pronounced George-ette. Voile is pronounced v-wow (without the w at the end)-L. Don't worry, French is complicated.
Beautiful collection! Thank you for the video! One thing made me laugh though, and it’s that google lied to you on how to pronounce a lot of these 😂 not to be rude, it was just funny that google didn’t know either!
