Your courage in going all in on the Decked Out redesign because you wanted to make it something that YOU were happier with, is so inspiring to me! If you’re willing to do that in public on the internet, then the rest of us should be able to admit we’re not satisfied with something we did, and make our own changes.
This is, like, par for course with Pearl. She rotated her entire starting base last season because she didn’t like the way it was pointed.

As the father of a little one who always pranks me by gluing googly eyes to everything, I whole-heartedly approve! (My favorite, if you'd like to duplicate it, is googly eyes on a KFC bucket of the Colonel's chicken.)

Shoop Da Whoop I'M A' FIRIN' MAH LAZER!! was the first thing I thought of when I saw the portal. Not sure if Pearl meant to do that or not, but it's still a great callback to an OG meme.
I loved your original designed room, but the update was definitely better and fit the theme more, well done!
The Decked Out room redesign looks super cool! The only change I can think of is to lower the light levels a little. Most of the the rest of Decked Out has the lowest light levels possible while still being monster proof.
Also, I love the googly eyes!

I think that's mainly to create a feeling of creepiness and danger. The light here works by contrast since it's a lava-filled room and so the danger vibes are still there but from a different source
As nice as the breakfast nook was, I'm loving that new cave! The tomb is such a great theme and is a fun combination of the desert and Dripstone vibes. I can easily see Tango rigging some kind of trap that has the wall pull back and skeletons come out to take pot shots at whoever is running by.
Those faces on Impulse's archways make them look like Baroness Von Bonbon's castle and I'm here for it!
I love derpy Pearl in the swing, she looks like she’s having a great time
The pranks are so creative and the statues are so well-designed, can‘t wait to see the other Soup group members‘ reactions.
The PvP session at the end was a delight to watch and a nice fill-in for a short episode, I expected Gem to defeat Pearl and Impulse most of the time, but Pearl did surprisingly well in her PvP fights against Gem.

I like the new decked out room desighn! Sad to see the greenery go, but I agree that red sand wibe fits way more

Both of the designs for the decked out room are great. The main issue I see is the lighting. Most of the dungeon is light level 1-9 and the room is so well lit it stands out and will always feel a bit out of place
You say that however the lava room next to her room is also lit up really well (cuz of lava :P) and a few rooms in level 1 also are lit up a bit more than others. So I don’t think it should be a problem to have a bright room (also creates more of a POI which is what tango has been needing in the caves)
Hope that clears up or justifies the light levels
Not sure she can keep the leather armour in there since players might think they can take it.

I'm loving the new Decked Out design! Tango indeed added berry bushes through the dungeon as a way for food. The berry bush will need a light level of 9 above it. The rest of the area could definitely be darker with light levels reaching as low as 1.

I really liked the first version of the room, it had a calm in-between the storm type of vibe and it was a good break up from the the tone of the dungeon

Real Pearl on Swing Pearl's head was like a large-scale version of Egg Pearl on Real Pearl's head. Now we need all three of them in a successively smaller (or larger depending on which end you start from) stack of Pearls.
Love the idea that Pearl is hoarding great treasures in her trash shop but nobody knows because they can't figure out the door.
With the volume of recyclables going into Twinkly Trash. Automated storage assembly may be in order.
Shulker Unloader -> Sorting System -> Shulker Loader, at least for bulk stuff.
pearlescent slay is her name. the only one capable of stopping geminislay in her conquering quest.

I personally think your part of the Caves of Carnage could use some decorations that you've got in your mega base. Alien plants could definitely fit the vibe as long as you use those same purple/blue-ish colours. Creates a colourful part of the caves of carnage but if done well it'd just feel off-setting and somewhat creepy, which I think Tango (and the other hermits) would love

Interesting to see the whole vibe change of the decked out room
This definitely fits more with the danger theme of Decked Out 2. It looks both awesome and terrifying. But I also liked the other room you designed since it looked like part of the pirate/mines vibe, and also as a little safe haven to get some respite from all the running and screaming. And believe me, from the testing that Tango has done, there will be plenty of those.

Can we just take a minute to realize how strong pearl actually is in pvp. Like you gotta remember she lives in Australia and like no big server ist hosted near Australia so she just plays with more lag and just a higher ping than the others which gives her quite a big disadvantage

It’s one thing to see Gem wipe the floor with Etho. To see her and Pearl fight at full power is a totally different beast.
The decked out area is a great build aesthetically, but it seems a bit bright by comparison - I've noticed that tango seems to be trying to keep the light level carefully low.
The pedestal in the base was Cleo, she put one at everyone's base. Won't say anymore

I often watch on a second monitor while working, and trying to not literally laugh out loud at my desk during the googly eye section was a true battle! LOL!
A story for the tomb you made- The Tomb of the sun was made for when St Pearl died. King Sausage carried Pearls body to another world knowing it would be for the best. After building the tomb in the world of Hermitcraft there was an earthquake that made a mountain collapse on the tomb burying it. A week later Sausage went back to his home world but sadly died from a broken heart from loosing a close friend. 1000 years later Sausage and Pearl were re-born, Sausage becoming a king once again and Pearl becoming a builder and a group member that loves ✨SoUp💅 .
The PvP at the end gave me a Rock, Paper, Scissors vibe.

This Decked Out rebuild just reinforced Pearl's builder supremacy in my mind. All of the hermits are good, but Pearl excels in making themes and biomes feel exactly. What's madness to me is that she can take a build, and with a palette swap and a few detail changes, change the entire biome. Her large scale teraforming doesn't quite feel the way Scar's does and her buildings... or maybe their presentation... aren't always done quite to B-dubs' level, but she takes what they do best and makes it her own. Pearl doesn't always do details or make every building useful like b-dubs, but when she does, her work astounds. I want to talk about some of the other hermits too, but let's leave it there. Incredible, Pearl! Thanks for showing us your "error". Little details are important(even when "little" refers to an entire minibiome!)

My sister sticks goggly eyes everywhere every April Fools day. Honestly it’s a fun and harmless little prank that we all enjoy seeing every year.
The slow motion in the editing of pearl building the pranks stuff looks so awesome not in this one only in every video pearl honestly love editing her videos maybe that's why she edit those so well :)
The new room is SO GOOD. The only thing to mention is Tango will remove the armor stands-players would steal the armor.

As much as I love Gem’s piranha plant and want you to keep it, your pranks are absolutely the best. The next thing we know you’ll be putting googly eyes on everyone’s bases and shops. I love the googly eyes! This prank war is very fun so far and I'm loving it. The redo of the maze area is also very cool! I loved the last design also but I agree that this one fits more thematically. Watching you spar was also a delight
I also believe that the Egyptian tomb is a nice change, we could easily have a lore like climate change turning the desert into a snowy mountain but the frozen citadel had always been meant to be a burial ground. Only thing off for me was having a wooden bench in front of the sarcophagus

The new Decked Out design looks cool! I think it would be even better if you reduce the light levels, except for the coffin part. Gives a high light to the coffin making it even creepier.
The new design for the room looks good, one note however, the berry bushes require a transparent block (or air) above them, plus a light level of 9 or higher for the block above the berry bush in order to grow, so that bush as it is now won't grow any berries.
I think the new Decked Out! room matches the Caves of Carnage vibe a bit better, but I don't think it looks old and worn enough. It could use some cracked bricks, a little grayer texture, and some overgrowth. It looks well-maintained.
