Why do you have to emphasize on "European players" just to put them on top of African player, Okocha? And you throwing out names that are not even close to Okocha technical skills. Only one close is Iniesta. If you are talking about Cruff or Pobosky, I might say you know something about football.
@@jamesngene3218 The list is exclusively South America, with exception of Okocha. There are a lot of players in the history who have crazy skills to control the ball like Okocha, guys like Denilson, Riquelme. They couldn't lead their team to further success for different reasons. Okocha and Denilson were similar, they were very good players but their vision/timing were not good enough to be the center piece of a top team. They should have learned from Zidane who could dribble at will, but he only dribbled until his teamates found their positions/rythms, then the ball was sent to the right guy.
@@chenyuyufc 1st.the list is not only about South America. 2nd. The list is about skills and techniques not about football intelligence. You have to know the difference. Pirlo, Busquet, and every player you listed, etc has that intelligence. This is about players doing extra ordinary things in matches. Anybody can dribble, pass and shoot, but not every player has high football IQ and not every player has mad techniques in the field of play.

I agree that you need to define "technical" before you can put together the list. Your list of characteristics is correct. Vision is the difficult part to assess. Knowing where everyone is and where they will be. I disagree that CR7 wouldn't make the top 15. He is much more well rounded than most of the people on the list. You don't get his sort of results with luck and drive.
That word you used was the one I was hoping to see someone mention. VISION. Not many players can view the game as MESSI does. It’s as if he’s viewing from above. He reads the game so well it’s astounding and he has the ball control and the dribbling and the killer passes. He’s THE most technical player ever. I love MARADONNA, NEYMAR and PELE but no one sees the game as MESSI does. Currently for me he’s the best playmaker in the history of the game and that is due in part to his superior technical abilities.
