Adding T to the LGB acronym has caused a ‘lot of confusion’

- The LGB acronym is about sexual orientation whereas the “T” is about identity issues - which is “completely separate” and caused a lot of confusion, says LGB Alliance Co-Founder Bev Jackson.
“LGB is about relationships - it’s about love, it’s about sex, it’s about who you’re attracted to,” Ms Jackson said.
You can’t get more anti science than saying: “Gender is a social construct”
Science proves gender is biological reality.
what matters to many people is not the truth or reality, only their own opinions matter.
Well, yes and no. Old definitions of gender were more dependent on "physical state". As in the physical state of being male or female. Which in this case means biological reality. But gender definitions now include "mental state" An example being , "deeply held convictions". At the moment you can't really deny that sex, and male sex and female sex are about biological reality. But the trans activists are trying to chip away at those definitions.
These people just pick and choose
It's gonna suck when people in the LBGTQABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRS+++ community is in sceience and going to make changes to biology.

Bev & Ollie had the most cohesive arguments to say. Hell, my family had a lesbian couple live with us for a Yr&1/2 after Hurricane Katrina! My best lunch buddy when I taught at a school was gay. I accept everybody for who they are; JUST DON’T PUSH IT ON THE KIDS!

Let's look at the history of known convicted paedophiles behaviours over the years. It is well known that paedophiles in general have been known to carefully target particular jobs, communities, clubs, professions that will gain them access to children. It's occured in all kinds of situations and places, boy or girl scouts, swimming instructors, churches with priests, teaching jobs, etc. The gay community would not be immune from them.
They are and always have been a part of the LCBT crowd. They openly advocated for them in the early days of the movement they stopped this when they started campaigning for gay marriage.

Peter gave an interesting historical element about things. The only two people who spoke rationally and intelligently were Oli and Bev. James Barr never lets anyone have their say. Likewise with women. Women-men/women-women/both. Children do not need to be spoken to about any of it. They should simply be children. Innocent, happy, learning, laughing, having fun

@@LeaMumof3 No, the origin on "Gender" is the same as the origin of "Genitals". They both come from the Latin word "genus", meaning family or type. There are 2 types of genitals, and so 2 types of gender.

Some people believe that sex and gender are the same, others think it's a deep feeling of who you are and there's those who believe that gender are all the social expectations imposed on each sexes. For example, a boy must have short hair and wear dark colours, whereas a girl must have long hair and wear bright colours.
So "gender" is the social identity of your sexual reality. There was a time where those who did not follow the gender social rules were considered cross-dressers and tomboys. Still boys and girls, but nowadays, anything that does not follow the gender norm is considered trans, which is, quit frankly, way more regressive. That's really ironical.

It's only recently that people have attempted to define gender with relation to hair style and clothing choice. A boy with long hair is still a boy, and a girl with short hair is still a girl. Their hair style does not change their gender.

"LGB" in a community sense was about saying "hey, like it or not, we're ok with saying we're same attracted to those we share a gender with", & that garners support from a community of reasonable minded people, showing that a good society won't frown on you, and doesn't want to see you harmed. But adding "T" changes it, because it isn't about the attraction aspect, it's about wanting to be a part of something revolving around inclusivity. I'm sorry about the harshness of this trans people, but I think the problem is that where gay people and those who support them are accepting a truth about themselves, you may be living a lie. I'm not sure you can ever be anything other than "transitioning", or "between". You don't transition, or be transitioned, as far as I'm aware (although I guess growing functional sex organs may not be too far away).
I do sympathise if your brain says that you know you're cognitively a woman trapped in a man's body, or vice-versa. I don't imagine it's easy. But would it not make more sense to come to terms with the fact that what you're achieving is the emulation you desire to be closer to the gender you feel you are? "MTF" & "FTM" just doesn't work. "To" isn't what's an actual end result, unless you're receiving functional organ transplants? Even then, your genetic blueprint still says that you're laid out to be what you were physically built as, with the sex organs you were born with. "MEF" & "FEM" - male emulating female, & female emulating male, could make society being more understanding, & accepting a lot better for you, in my opinion. We can appreciate that you are mentally that man or woman you know inside, and that you have made physical changes, but also know that you can recognize that biologically speaking, being say a "male" anatomically with a vagina, does not make you a biological male. I can acknowledge & appreciate that you believe yourself to be what you feel to be, & yearn to be as a human being & that's what you are inside,, but without both the thought mentality, & designated physical blueprint matching up, I can't align you with being authentically one or the other, & must therefore hold an understanding that you live in an in-between reality, & not the fully changed reality you might be desiring.

The one on the right - is James and he always thinks he is right. He always interrupts everyone. As soon as I saw he was on, I thought oh no, here we go. Whereas Oli, the one on the left closest to the host, was simply trying to have a clear calm opportunity to speak from his experience. I remember when I first heard him (Oli) talking and he had just transitioned to a trans woman, I found it difficult to accept what he was saying. After a while, he made more sense and I have always been keen to listen to him. Now that he is transitioning back to his birth-self, I believe he would make for a wonderful advocate for helping teenagers (and younger) who are confused etc, as he could explain the importance of waiting. If children relied on listening to James, they would all be LGBTQRIA+++
