Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Tank Model

- The Apocalypse Tank 3D model showcase. The plan was to make an animation that I had in mind but the track rigging in Unreal is proving more difficult than I expected. So I've decided to just make this video instead and try to figure out the rig some other time.
I based this design on Soviet era tanks such as T-10 hull, T-62 tracks and wheels and also proposed ST-2 for that turret. And rocket launchers are Nebelwerfers because... reasons! Alsooo, there's some confusion about the cyrillic writing on the turret, means hvasta3d and that was my old Instagram handle just written in cyrillic alphabet.

Pretty nice "realistic" interpretation of a fantasy tank. It look like it could have been an Objekt from one of the many design bureau from the Soviet Union in the 50's.
The closest we got to the Apocalypse Tank is the ''Object 490B''.

IS 2 based on the looks but IMO the IS 10 would have been better

There's also a single barrelled Apocalypse in the game cutscenes - it had no AA missiles, no frontal ram. And was an alternate counterpart to the Rhino that was scrapped from the game. It would be cool if you could model that too.
Now I'm pissed off that Border Model did not make their Apocalypse tank model kit in a similar fashion. I see so many parts from T-55, IS-2 , T-34 and they all look sooo soviet. I would love to build this one now ;)

hi: a weapon with two barrels seem impractical. It is heavier with twice the material. Just make one big barrel instead. Whoever designed this wasteful setup was no genius. Wasteful
