What an amazing car! Wife and I bought a bone stock '13 gs 3LT with manual trans with 14,500 miles on the clock. Did a 10.5 qt oil change in it, pretty wild it has 2 drain plugs! Have to be super careful not to hit front of car on a curb in parking lots!
@@FredFlintstone21, After 10 years ownership I've learned simply to BACK IN where ever I park, that way you won't risk damage to your Front Splitter or front end.. Works perfect

Wow... that's a gorgeous car, man... congrats! Inferno Orange is an awesome color - and I love the way those blue calipers pop! Nice! I own a '12 GS (manual/dry sump) in your second choice color... Supersonic Blue - also with the Competition Grey wheels. I've had mine a little over a year and it's still stock - and still a blast! Looking forward to following along to see what else you do with this one. Enjoy!

Congrats!! I have a 2012 Inferno Orange Grand Sport Coupe (6M)!! I have Morimoto Head and taillights, smoked laser side markers, and carbon fiber side skirts. I had it supercharged by Lingenfelter and it's a handful!! It's been 9 years now and I STILL LOVE IT!! Enjoy!!

Nice GS! I own a 2013 Inferno Orange 6 spd GS coupe and watched this vid to see how the blue calipers looked lol (I've been considering getting them). If you ever decide to change that spoiler , check out Katech carbon spoiler. They made mine to order and it's 100% real carbon fiber. The carbon weave looks incredible, and the shape is more aggressive, but not overly aggressive. Plus the carbon weave has a gray-ish hue that would match the Competition Gray rims nicely.

I love that color! Beautiful car, I got mine last June. My "must haves" were C6 GS Coupe & Velocity Yellow, basically a Z06 w/o the HP, alum frame and the Ins. premium. Didn't go for the manual because I have bum knees and I also know what it takes to change the clutch! Would love to know where you got that "mild 2 wild" remote holder for your ashtray, please let me know. Peace

Congrats! I just bought a 2012 6 speed Inferno Orange Grand Sport a few weeks back. NPP exhaust. Black interior with same rims but in chrome. Same story been looking for years for either this color or carlisle blue. Also have the similar zr1 aero kit. Been going back and forth on painting my calipers and what color. This helps some thanks. My only complaints about the car is I hate how red my car looks in low light. It looks like 2 totally different cars in direct light vs low light. I'm currently trying different polishes and waxes to see if I can bring the orange & metallic out more before I ceramic coat it. Also, I made my own remote relay "mild 2 wild" to open and close my exhaust. It's still too quiet for me. It for sure needs long tunes and x-pipe.

In the market for a black on black GS. The only other "must have" is I prefer completely stock. Higher miles (up to 100K ish) is okay, I'd consider a well repaired and fairly priced rebuilt title car. Nationwide search. I'll fly out and drive home or arrange delivery. If anyone knows of anything, let me know!

Great car, i have a white 11 grandsport also had the competition grey wheels, they looked good when clean but any little drive and the brake dust is super noticeable and wheels always look dirty, so I swapped to chrome ones not sure if its the brake pads i bought, but mine is crazy with brake dust

congrats!!! just grabbed from Nevada same car, auto (no comments please for wife), supercharged, full exhaust, serious tires, only 2lt. Cant imagine why anyone would lower it but they did. I love driving it, probably 520 to wheels. cam coming quickly, any other recommendations for HP? Do you like the Kenwood, changing that quickly - any regrets? thanks, john

Inferno orange such a rare color on the c6. I've got some 3 pc HRE wheels (gunmetal face polished lip) for sale off my c6 grand sport if you are interested.
Such a solid daily, puts you in the category of literally being able to drive a 430HP Corvette every day, as simple as that sounds.
Beautiful Vette! Was it hard to get used to the much lower ground clearance than the Mustang had? Also, have you installed front parking sensors?
No sensors. It was WAY DOWN THERE when I first got it. Now it's normal.
I think the wheels would look better black as well as the emblems. That's just me though since mine looks that way.
The dry sump system doesn't come on the manual convertible GS's

do you know who built the motor? the tag is on the front of the right hand cylinder head. have the same car 2011 same color 3lt. but I built my own engine. was a engine builder at wixom Michigan at that time
only gm employee to hand build there own engine I know off.

What is the average price for the C6 grand sport in this year range ?
6mo ago $30-35k depending on miles ...but the lack of Used vehicles on the market and the C8 slow production have cause prices to soar. Honestly I wouldn't think about selling this one cause I couldn't replace it at the moment. Its value is roughly $45k with these options and miles today 5/22/2021

It was what TPS Motorsports calls Velocity blue.
I've had 5 mustangs 1984 coupes 1983 coupe 2012 gt convertible and last 03 cobra 22k 2,9 gen5 whipple dual Kenny bell fuel pumps air intake Throttle body twin dick McCloud clutch 670 at the wheels just sold and don't no why but I want to go wit the vette either c6 zo6 or grandsport with blaze orange or jet black just a little short on money now but once winter hits I male decent money plowing hopefully be in my dream car by spring
You may know from my videos I sold this grand sport went to a Mustang and had to sell it and come back to the Corvette world but I came back to a Z06 and I'm super happy I did

The car is tinted now, checkout my other video. But, one reason is it's hard to find someone who will work with that back window...it's a bear and some places won't touch it or charge a fortune.

Cool car. A little jumbled up with the black, red, blue and carbon fiber garnishment colors. Save your lunch money and unify to black or Carbon fiber. All good otherwise.
